Why isn't this channel more popular? I love it.
Thank you, that is so kind! I don't know either - lol :/
I always learn so much from your videos. The trident gills are amazing.
Thanks man. Yeah, don't they look awesome?
Great video Chris very well narated, educational and informative.
Much appreciated, thank you so much. I almost wish I did that video more recently, so I could have done a better job. I am very happy you liked it!
Chyis Egnoto you are awesome man!! Thank you for another outstanding and educational video, we need to get you your very own nature channel for public broadcast we call it OETA in Oklahoma, kids could learn great information about our small friends and you could get paid for doing what you seem to have a great passion for, thank you again sir, have a great new week.
Thank you so much! That would be pretty awesome. I would love this to bring me a livable income. I absolutely love teaching and it is a great medicine for me. You have a great week!
Thank you so much for explaining so well, we love both flying amazing creatures! 😉😊👍
Thanks for this - I saw a magnificent bright green dragonfly up close a couple of hours ago and wanted to learn more. Great!

Interesting Stuff On The Dragonflies And Damselflies Very Colourful Insects Both Of Them!😀🐝🐝💮🌸🌿
Glad you enjoyed it and yes, they sure are! My all time favorites are the Ebony Jewelwings!!!
Thank you for this great video. We have created a native habitat in our yard, including a pond in the backyard. We have so many damselflies this year! We have also seen some dragonflies. I don't know anything about them--am trying to learn more. They are so friendly--one of them landed on my forehead yesterday :) This video is amazing!
Thanks for another amazing video! I feel dumb because I didn’t know there was a difference. So educational!
Don't feel dumb. To most people, they are the same thing. One doesn't know something until they learn it, and that's what you just did :) And thank you btw, I am happy that you liked the video
Have only visited the States to see birds; must return one day to see dragons like these (I've seen some I knew, but not many). Noticed Blue Dasher (fem) and Green Darner here.
Oh wow. In June and July, you wouls see a lot of amazing ones around the ponds and lakes. South East U.S. is an incredible place to find and watch a big variety of species.
Another great video man! Sharing.
Thank you so much for sharing!!
Great video man!
Thanks Buddy! They aren't easy to film up close

Awesome! Thank you so very much. So what was your favorite video so far? I imagine it must be real hot in Georgia about now?
Thank you
Very helpful video thanks! I always wondered why some small "dragonflies" held their wings up instead like a butterfly 😆
Glad I could help! I found some massive ones a couple weeks ago. Completely red, too
thanks bunches!
Welcome even more!
This was in my IELTS test
? IELTS?
Nature Now! - Chris Egnoto yeah in the reading test 2 years ago
But what do they eat? Why did mother nature make them so much alike and yet different?
Thank you sir
They prey upon insects, flying insects, pretty much. They love mosquitos, knats, all sorts of flies and midges, etc
@@chrisegnoto thanks
I wanna learn entomology but insects freak me out, any tips?
Yes. Start with something either vegetarian or cute. Stick insects are fun and Death Feign beetles are real easy and fair natured. They also live a long time. Crabs might make the transition easier. Check out my invertebrate videos to get some ideas. I have a lot of friendly insects, too
Dragonflies land on u?? :( lucky!
