See that little set screw behind the knurled knob on top of the vise stem? It was not mounted when I bought my vise from you a couple of months ago. When you try to screw in that set screw, it feels like you've got it in correctly but the threading is really tight. After an hour of really cranking down with an allen wrench and still not getting it tight, I took the set screw out and tried it on the other side. Slipped in like it was Astrolubed. Please mark which side gets the set screw. Other than that, the vise is a beautiful tool, easy to use, and smooth like buttah. Thanks,

@@AvidMax I like it. It came with one of the tips of the jaws chipped. But. I can use it. Maybe one day I find out how to replace with new cam. But all and all. It’s a well made vice. And I really like the caring case

I bought and setup but never use. I also have the Griffin Spider which is my travel vise. all time I am using the Renzitti Master.
Can it be used with 1/0 and 2/0 hooks for salt water ?
Yessir, the mongoose is rated for up to a 4/0, so 1/0 and 2/0 are definitely possible.
