And gusto got 9 assists in his 1st PL season there . + Madueke will get more motivation and he is fast . A madueke at the 70th minute against tired legs is exactly what we need ,his directness will be crucial. + for nkunku ,his best position is being a no.10 he can shoot from distance from there ,AND he can crash the box for a cut-back or header . The truth is recruitment has been a shambles even though they try to pretend the have this amazing scouting network. Recruitments has been based on probability. Just buy loads of players and based on probability some will be good but there has been no plan behind our recruitments.
Nkunku starting depends on Reece James I said it before and I’ll say it again Maresca ideally wants Palmer RW tucking in the right half space and Nkunku in the left half space but Reece needs to be fit enough to hold the width it’s that simple with Caicedo and Lavia offering the protection behind them that’s our best 11
+ In the first 11 games we have already played United / City/ arsenal / Liverpool/ Newcastle. We haven't even once played against a newly promoted side . Our next 10/11 games are fairly easy ,only aston villa and spurs are difficult . We mostly defeat spurs and Aston villa has been up and down this ssn . So i am expected atleast 22/30 points . And if , IF chelsea is a serious club ,we will got get osimhen in January which will get us top 3 easily and atleast 2-3 trophies by the end of season . TBH im surprised we are "that good" at this point in the season. We played the big 3(City, LFC and Arsenal). We faced Brighton, Newcastle, United and Forest(the big surprise so far this season). So out of the 11 games we had 7 maybe on paper 9(Wolves and West Ham) not so easy fixtures. Coming out as 3rd in such a packed table is something to be happy with. We should have some easy fixtures coming up. Be able to get most of the points. And stay at 3rd/4th place in the table. IF me maintain in that range of the table we have a good shot to finish in UCL Spot. Also 5th could be good enough. If we win the Conference Legue f.e. then we contribute a huge amount of points to the UEFA Coeff. No big fuck ups from the current 4 Clubs in the UCL. United getting at least to the Quarterfinals in Europa League.

Everybody says Palmer played poorly on the right wing,when he only played their against Man City,he didn't have a poor game,we just lost,when he had two weeks of training after summer break. Palmer was scoring goals for us on that position for the whole of last season. Our best away game of last season was at Brighton where Nkunku scored from a 10 position,and Palmer a brilliant header running from the right to head in from the left. The second best game was at the Etihad 1-1,Palmer was good,and was on the right. Before his injuries,in preseason under Poch,Nkunku and Jackson had a great link up. Palmer on the right will be free and avoid man marking. When we play Lavia and Caicedo to be solid defensively,why not play Nkunku who clearly works as hard as palmer off the ball,and add palmer on the right who can have 10 times the G+A of Caicedo. We are putting ourselves In a situation where two creative players in Enzo and Nkunku will want to leave, because of stubbornness from the manager. Last season we started badly,but do we forget that was a season when we had 23 players in their first season? That we are labeling everything great now when we ended the season as the joint 3 best teams who win their last 5 games alongside arsenal and Man City
