- Many songs from the Tamil Films have been ignored periodically for reasons best known to no one. Especially, never or rarely attempted in any reality shows, stage shows or competitions.
When the nation is on a Quarantine, Subhasree Thanikachalam launches this new series.
This series will feature a set of rare songs that are rarely heard, rarely performed and she will also try and give some trivia for the songs.
The songs will all be performed by young singers who came out of her shows, which mainly focussed on old songs. The sessions are unplugged and performed with minimum instrumentation. No retakes. One stretch live performance..

Mam, எங்கோ போய் விட்டீர்கள் இந்த பாடலை தேர்ந்து எடுத்து..... எத்தனையோ விடுதலை போராட்ட பாடல்கள் உள்ளன. எத்தனையோ பாரதியின் பாடல்கள் உள்ளன. ஜி. ராமநாதன் என்ற இசை மேதை எத்தனையோ உன்னதமான பாடல்களை உருவாக்கியுள்ளார். தாங்கள் குறிப்பிட்டது போல Sv சுப்பையா எத்தனையோ அற்புதமான பாத்திரங்களை ஏற்றுள்ளார். நடிகர் திலகம் "திலகமாய்" பல வேடங்களில் நடித்துள்ளார். Tk சண்முகம் எனும் ஆசான் பல திறமைசாலிகளை அடையாளம் காட்டி , நாடகம் மட்டுமல்லாது திரையிலும் தனது அசாத்திய முத்திரையை பதித்தவர்.
இவ்வாறு பல legend களின் "எத்தனையோ " திறமைகளின் ஒற்றை தொகுப்புதான் இப்பாடல். காலத்தை கடந்து நிற்கும் இப்படமும் பாடல்களும் வ.உ சிதம்பரம் பிள்ளை அவர்களின் புகழை மட்டுமல்ல , சுதந்திர இந்தியாவில் தமிழரின் பங்கினை பாங்காக எடுத்துக் காட்டிய படம்.
பாடலை பாடிய ஷ்ரவன் மற்றும் சந்தோஷ் திருச்சி லோகநாதனையும், சீர்காழியையும் இரு காதுகளிலும் "head phone" ஆக ஒலிக்கிறார்கள். "முத்து குளிப்பதொரு" என்ற இடத்திலும், ஓயுதல் செய்யோம் தலை சாயுதல் செய்யோம் என்ற இடத்திலும் இசை மேதை GR ...பாரதியின் வரிகளுக்கு உயிர் கொடுத்திருப்பார். அதனை ஷ்ரவனும், சந்தோஷும் அதற்கு புத்துயிர் கொடுத்துள்ளனர்.
இசை மாமேதை ஜி. ராமநாதன் பத்து படி மேலே சென்று இப்பாடலை அமைந்துள்ளதாக குறிப்பிட்டு உள்ளீர்கள். இந்த பாடலை தங்கள் விளக்க உரையுடன் பதிவிட்டு பல படிகள் மேல் சென்று அந்த "வெள்ளிப் பனி மலை" உயரத்திற்கே சென்று விட்டீர்கள். இந்த 149வது பாடல் QFR இன் ஆகச்சிறந்த பாடல் என்பது திண்ணம்.
When the keyboard started and Shravan continued i got the same kind of goosebumps when i heard the original song.Hats off to the whole team.இந்த பாட்டை கண்ணில் கண்ணீர் இல்லாமல் நினைத்து பார்ப்பது மிகவும் கடினம்.
