To anyone wanting to get frogs: DO YOUR RESEARCH. and no, that doesn’t mean watch TikTok a and RUclips videos about frogs, read articles about care, etc. and if you can’t afford the things for a frog, or the frog itself, don’t even think about getting one. You will not be giving it a good healthy life if you try to do it cheaply. (Also don’t forget to handle most frogs with gloves)
I have 2 leopard geckos in desert themed tanks. I learned they need more humid tanks by watching these vids. I am going to use my money for new tank items. It helped me.
@@bribri4335 there are many care guides and info articles online! I like to also learn about their natural habitats and behavior so I can understand even more about them. (Because even if they are bred in captivity, they still are very much wild animals)

I’m getting a tree frog soon and this brings me great joy for when I do (Don’t worry, I’m not just watching TikToks, I’ve actually done my research and know how to care for it, etc.)
A good way to tell is by the texture of their skin! If it's flat and smooth, it's most likely a frog, and if it's bumpy and dry than it's more than likely it's a toad!

I find hurt frogs and nurse them to health and release them

Whites tree frogs are a great option, they are very chonky and hearty so if you can get the right stuff then they are perfect (also pacman frogs)
Maybe look at other easy pets such as crested geckos,leopard geckos before you choose a frog
