In which month has this session been shot? I really want to go to Bali in the future but I'm an old longobarder so big swells are not my cup of tea haha, this looks perfectly sized for my skills!
Youre probably better of going to lombok during winter, nov-april, trade winds are right for lombok, i prefer it here in the winter to bali, its wet season but its ok, doesnt rain so much, bit of flooding. Lombok also has more friendly waves for longboarding. waves are not as world class than Bali, but the crowds are less.
If you want to surf impossibles smaller with less crowd, April or October. The winds blow offshore April through October. Starting in May, swells are bigger, more crowds. Swells and crowds diminish in October.
That left looks lovely, but remember people longboard = 9ft or more, otherwise it’s a mini-mal or midlength if your “on trend” 🤣🤣 Fun video though - jealous 😬
