    INGREDIENTS:
    1 Certified Angus Beef ® tri-tip roast (approximately 3 pounds)
    1/2 cup (3-ounces) coarse kosher salt
    1/2 cup (3-ounces) cracked black pepper
    1/4 cup (1 1/2-ounces) granulated honey (or granulated raw sugar)
    1 tablespoon (1/4-ounce) granulated garlic
    1 tablespoon (1/4-ounce) onion powder

    I always go against the grain. Next time I’ll do it while slicing my tri tip. 😎. GreenEggs sure look nice, if only they didn’t cost more than my first car. Tri tips come out great on my Weber however. I’ve never hear of granulated honey, so you’ve given me something to search for in the spice aisle. Now to decide for this weekend, tri tip or get a corned beef and make some pastrami.

    Did this in my oven. Tri tip's respond well to reverse sear, also as a generally smaller cut it does not take that long to do.
