The 80's was the greatest decade for pop/rock music. Grew up in that time in my teenage years and younger. Still listen to the music of those days and it's like soul enrichment therapy.
The guitar player without the shirt is like 60 or 61, etc and he says he's in the best shape he's ever been in. He has a trainer with him on the road as you can see. 😂
Phil Collen is the jacked guitarist. He’s 65 years old now so 58/59when this came out. Vivian Campbell, the rhythm guitarist is pretty ripped too, he just covers up most of the time. Vivian has been treated twice for Hodgkins Lymphoma! He toured while he was getting treated, CRAZY!!
Def Leppard guys. Joe Elliott singer age 63, Phil Collen (shirtless guitarist) age 65!, Rick "Sav" Savage (blonde hair - bass) 62, Viv Campbell (short dark hair - guitar) 60, and Rick Allen (drums) 59. Sav and Joe are the founding members. Phil and RIck Allen are vegan. Phil does not drink or smoke either. Viv is mostly vegetarian. Phil, Sav, and Viv regularly work out with their trainer on the road. These guys love to play live and it shows. Actually Joe's voice has sounded even better in recent years since spending a lot of time with a vocal coach after losing his voice in 2016.
Omg……Their albums before “Pyromania” - “On through the Night” & “High & Dry” are just packed with bangers…….I listen to maybe 3 or 4 songs from “Pyro” & maybe 2 from “Hysteria” …….They cannot compete with their raw, “garage” band old school bangers
Agree. I still like plenty of songs on the later albums and was happy with their self titled release in 2015. Nothing touches High and Dry though. "Let it Go" is very underated and is one of my favorites by them. They are great live but I wish they checked out the studio verision for the reaction. It had more teeth to (so did live versions from when they were younger) Good reaction though. For some reason I never see people react to this one.
Hey!. Another great reaction of my favorite band EVER!. This is great considering its live and they are getting on in years lol. But they still bring it!. But ..... if you 4eally want the full effect if the 80s feel and how great this was go back and listen to when they first recorded it. AWESOME!.
This song really is one of their best ones, especially live. However, Joe Eliott's vocal perfermance was much better in 2019 than in 2017, check out the Las Vegas 2019 live version.
Agree 100%. They should've scrapped this concerts recording due to Joe having vocal issues around that time. But Joe's bad is still better than most singers good from that era.
Exactly! Joe lost his voice in or around 2016. He spent a lot of time rehabbing his vocal cords and working with a vocal coach to get it back. I have seen videos of their recent concerts and Joe's voice sounds better now than back even in 2019 at the Hall of Fame induction concert they played.
Their first two albums were their best. "Hello America" written by a teenage Joe Elliot working in a factory dreaming of making it big. Phenomenal song.
What no one says here, or don't realize, is, yes they are much older, but this version is so much more hard rockin than the 1981 album/video version, the amazing drums, guitars are absolutely killing it, and in addition to the extended length, joe does a extremely long holding of a note that was never on the original, saw them in 2022, joe sounded better then I've heard in years, he's 64 years old, phil is the oldest at 65, so much respect!
Should have watched an earlier performance of this one from the High N Dry/Pyromania period, when Rick Allen had both arms. He can’t reproduce that early faster sound anymore, even with the foot pedals. Fortunately, having to slow down and use the electronic effects is what created the signature pop rock sound featured on Hysteria, their biggest success.
Listen to the tour from 2003 they opens up with side 1 off High n dry. Rick is kicking the shit out of the kit. I just think this tempo suits them for the here and now. Great song!
Love yalls energy! Love watching your reactions!! I've watched all the deftone reactions lol. I would like to request if possible Passenger from the Deftones the album version. It's Chino and Maynard from Tool
💥 I would like you to react to the Pawer metal group called: "Edu Falashi" theme: "Temple of Hate" in collaboration with ex-Helloween "Kai Hansen" is the most fantastic thing I've heard live

Have to check out when they did this song in their youth....much more energy. Great song.

The Leppard still taking the kids to school 🤘🏼
Seen them live in Las Vegas august 14th 2019 and this song was on the playlist, rocking shiw it was
React to Joe's speech at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as well as Brian May's intro for them

Rick is awsome 1 arm two arms equally great
You guys crack me up. Cool channel.. 🤘♥️🤘
If you like the 80's ... you have to view the original 80's video of Let it Go. It slays!! Much better.
This is a great record, heavy.
High n dry their BEST ALBUM ! Every song is a banger it’s a harder edged Def Leppard but it’s the best !
god damn those guitars sound rad. What a great sound.
Guitarist Phil Collen is 64
Looking better now than he did 35yrs ago! Lock up your grandmas! LOL
Joe's voice was toast at this point
Saw them in 2022, his vocal issues resolved absolutely sounded amazing...here, not so much, but even here he can hold a note at the end
The bandage on Kirks hand is so that his hands down tear
Who is Kirk do you mean Sav the bass
Vivian Campbell is an amazing guitarist, but there was something about the tandem of Steve Clark, rip, and Pete Willis.
Check out their brand new song kick

This was not the original Def Leppard Let it Go was the best song in the High and Dry album. The lead guitars changed after they fired the other guy.
Hey whatever your name is Joe Elliott is 62 years old
Better than Frozen.
💥 I would like you to react to the Pawer metal group called: "Edu Falashi" theme: "Temple of Hate" in collaboration with ex-Helloween "Kai Hansen" is the most fantastic thing I've heard live
His voice is not the best, but def leppard still rocks, great show and guitar performance
