I've been pulling stuff out of my bag each trip - we got it down to just a small camera case now. You will LOVE screening now - you just hold it out in front of you and unless it looks like a weapon (so keeping your camera in your other hand with the hand-held tripod helps), you just walk through without them looking through it. Battery Banks are a must. It's funny - since we shoot on 720p we never go over a 32gb card (but we also were TV news camera operators so we were used to shooting small short clips to tell a story - you'd get reprimanded if you did super long shots because they were harder to edit around). Moleskin and Bandaids are always in the bag. We also have wet wipes - not only are they good for cleaning up surfaces, they are good for cleaning up you (and not just bathroom related, like hands/legs/sweaty bits). Purell also. Two throw-away emergency ponchos as well.
Just got some ponchos to add to the list. I think this is the most prepared I have been for a trip in a long time. I usually panic pack the night before haha. The new security sounds like a dream! The old way was a nightmare. Paris is the worst for it still
I bought these little mesh bags from Amazon that you can put in the wash to hold like tights and pants and things. Put the ears in one of them and put it in a cold wash. Came up amazing!
Yes you will need the charger !!! Every day we where in universal my phone was fine the one day we where in magic kingdom oh lord my phone died at lunch t8me and mine was the only one that worked for Ubers Luckily a wonderful lady we met during the fireworks over heard me saying mine was dead and she let me plug my phone in to charge so I could book our Uber Fuel rods xx

I tend to put my backpack in my cabin case. I think you could get away with a small bag too but I don’t tend to do it just incase

That is so crazy! Definitely one of my biggest fears it’s just not having phone charge which is mental but that’s Disney nowadays
