Gentleman, if you try to change the boarding station on the journey date this message pops up in IRCTC app."As you are requesting the change in boarding station within 24 hours of scheduled departure of train,please note no refund shall be permissible if you cancel ticket.However in circumstances like cancellation of train, non attachment of coach, late running of train by more than three hours existing railway rules will be applicable.".if you share ur mail id I can share u the screen shot.(If needed).I hope I have clarified ur query.
