Hi, setting the parameter for the Perpendicular Frame to 1 instead of 0 will fix the problem. Also, the Rail Revolution tool works well with this exercise.
Hi Miled, thanks! That seems to fix it. What I don't understand is why it does not want to work when the parameter is 0. It is possible to use Rail Revolution, the trouble is the Axis that needs to be defined which is an extra step. Thanks for the tip!
@@LineweightsAcademy Hi, Mr. Lineweights. I followed the tutorial step by step. When I did the last step, I faced the same issue as you did. I tried to scale the section profile a couple of times, the bug followed the changes as well. But, at a certain point of scaling the profile, GH gave me the correct geometry.
Hi Mohammad, Red Line is a special Custom Component I have created that you can download for free using the link in the description of the video. Let me know if that works for you.
@@mr.interlocutor YES! That's absolutely true. We can definitely start that way. I wanted this video to focus a lot more on list management, that's why I chose this method. The trouble with Lunchbox is that it places all the hexagons in a single list, so you have to still organize them first before starting any extrusions, especially if you want control over the geometries. Thanks for the comment!
@@freerunner0123 In the dropbox link you'll see a folder called "My Custom Components & Template_V.1.03". The files are in there. Let me know if you don't find them.

Hi Salcii. No, I didn't! When I change the slider values, some curves populate fine and others don't, its completely random. Must be a bug with the Sweep Component. How about yourself? Same problem?
@@hughsoward3484 Hi Hugh, yes that can work! It depends on if you want the profile to remain in its orientation or if you want it to flow perpendicular to the path curve, but yes, Extrude along curve will work! Thanks!

Very well explained. Climax ending with humor too. 😀
lol. Glad you liked it.
Love the way how you explain each and everything!! :) Keep up the good work buddy!
Thanks, Dhruvin! More videos coming soon

Starting with a hexagon panelling on the base surface could have been faster ?
Lunchbox-> hexagon surface panel -> explode segments -> pick alternate hexagons -> extrude on alternate directions (inside/outside) -> contour for treads & risers?

why don't commands beginning with lc work in my file ?
Hi, you will need to download them first and place them in your User Objects folder. Use the download link in the description box
@@LineweightsAcademy thank you....where is the location for this User Objects folder ?

Did you find the reason for the Sweep1 error? I've tried this step by step and it still comes up with an error. Thanks!
