- Took me a while to finish this even for Pivot 4, but here it is. Godzilla vs Gamera Pivot 5 Animation this time. I decided to do pivot 5 because it offers more ways to use camera, and animation, which made it easier to animate. I release this today for tomorrow on Godzilla's 67th Anniversary.

I honestly love how both kaiju felt equally respected in this animation, it was really neat seeing Godzilla using his superior physical power to push Gamera around and then Gamera taking full advantage of his smarts and agility to pull some awesome move that gives him the upper hand every now and then, and the final team up against the abomination was just awesome

If you look closer he has a combination of a couple more, the overall shade/shape of his dorsals is purely legendary design and the burly looking belly screams gmk godzilla. His charge up is also essentially a weird combo of multiple styles

This is a true love letter to fans of both Kaiju without prioritizing one over the other, which is most likely something Toho would ruin if this crossover ever became official, with them insisting for Godzilla to win.

Incredible. I can tell you have seen a good amount of both Gamera and Godzilla films. You definitely tried to represent both kaiju using references to each of their films and their respective fighting styles. You have depicted these monsters so well that I felt I was watching a kaiju film. And for this reason, I prefer your Gamera vs Godzilla fight over all the others. Bravo!

But this is so amazingly well done, it's unbelievable that this is underrated. Godzilla and Gamera are masterly done as the fight was really great! I also think the Abomination Kaiju(Shin Abomination as I call it) was a surprising and awesome addition as well.
BTW what soundtrack is playing at 13:25 to 14:29 in the video, it sounds very nice, emotional and awesome at the same time.

This is so beautifully done! I can’t believe I missed this! Just wow. Love Godzilla and Gamera fighting each other, only to put their differences aside to defeat a stronger enemy, and they walk away respecting each other.

I've been a fan of them both for most of my life, and have seen or owned all the movies.it is usually assumed that godzilla would win ,;UT I personally would give (heisei)gamera 6/10 at least! A more even match would be gamera vs fire rodan,imo!
