- I made my first fictional tiara! This was so much fun to make, although it was definitely a new challenge to make a tiara from a sketch rather than replicating one from photographs.
Can't wait to add a fourth to the collection, let me know what you want to see me make in the comments! 🖤

I can definitely see Rapunzel dropping her tiara! 😆😁
Let’s just say I was getting in character 😂
@@MadameMyriad 😂
It is so Rapunzel for accidentally dropping it!
Glad the crown was okay after it fell, I gasped when it hit the floor! :)
I really like the crown series of videos😊
The crown you made is really beautiful
"It's going to be shiny...it's going to be pretty...it's going to be worth it!" Omg...I can so relate to that statement!!
It's absolutely gorgeous! 👑👑👑❤😍❤️😍❤️😍❤️😍👑👑👑
I loved making the Queen Victoria Emerald Tiara!
Thank you for every single second you put into these videos!
Thank you 🖤🖤 genuinely still so happy that you made one too! 😁
I think the nail gel would definitely help and save time for you, there’s also so much potential, you could make the sun shape more delicate and use gold chrome nail powder to make it extra shiny. This also opens up a lot of material options for you in the future 😁
Ooo I never thought about using the nail powders too, that could definitely be interesting to experiment with!
I can see that you carefully read every fan comment. I rarely see such good video creators.☺️❤️
That’s sweet of you to say 🖤 I love being able to talk to everyone in the comments, it’s my favourite part of the channel 🥰
Just a few suggestions Instead of the metal you could have used an aluminium soft drink can you could have cut it with scissors and a nail and hammer to punch the holes in it so you can wire it up. 😊😊 love watching you I have just found you❤❤
Thank you so much ☺️ I considered using drink cans like Austin Do does but ultimately decided against it as I knew the stones I wanted to put on it were pretty big and heavy so I wanted it to be sturdy, which I am very glad about as I now know it can survive being dropped 3 times 😅
Looking forward to the continuation of the Crown series😊
I’m so glad you’re enjoying them ☺️ I already have a fun one planned for autumn 🖤
I actually like the velvet!
I have to admit I wasn’t expecting it to go with the design so much 😄
Thank you 🖤🖤
My main hobby is sewing. Watching you make your new tiara while wearing a tiara has now absolutely convinced me that sewing while wearing a tiara is literally the only way to go. 🤷🏼♀️😃
Thank you for sharing - you are a joy. 😊💝
Haha yess 🙌🏻 I’ve been tempted to wear them in so many other videos but I get too self conscious, I feel like I get a free pass in the tiara videos though 😂
I love how close of a colour match the velvet and the wig are! It makes the base blend in so well! I love the tiara videos so much, all the details come together so so nicely!
Oh thank you! 🖤 I was surprised with how well the velvet worked, I really love it too 🥰
I really do suggest trying to do a kokoshnik style tiara like the Aquamarine tiara. Or maybe one of Anastasia's tiaras from the film. You can try to make your own base by using thicker wires instead of the standard band and use thinner metal sheets like soda cans when making shapes 😁 this really made me want to finish the tiara I abandoned.
I would love to make both of those! Anastasia’s tiara was almost the first one I made before I changed my mind to Princess Diana’s last minute 😄
Wonderful job Madame!! Loved watching you create it!! Inspiring me to make my own crown someday!! Had a lot of fun in the chat with you all! Yes, you simply *must* do a premiere again soon!! :)
Many blessings and happy sewing!! 💖
Thank you ☺️ I’m so excited that you’re making one too! & I loved the premiere, I was nervous but it was so much fun, think I will do it again next time 😁😁
@@MadameMyriad You're most welcome!
Yes, you *must* have a premiere again next time! You will start a trend with 'live' sewing videos! :)
The queen of tiaras still rules! I love the design, and I think it fits perfectly with the overall outfit. I think others have mentioned it as well, but for the metal cutting you could look for a jewelers saw, they are perfect for this. It is still time consuming, but you can be very precise. And a jewelers vise might be handy as well. But I’m amazed at what you can create with a few simple tools . . . . . and glue 😜
I accept this title 🙋🏼♀️👑 Thank you, I’ll pass your compliments over to the designer! I didn’t even know they were a thing but I’ll definitely look into the investment as I want to do more metal based designs going forward. I’m going to slowly build a whole kit for making these 😅 And yes, we must never forget the glue 👍🏻
It turned out ridiculously cute and regal at the same time
Thank you 🖤🖤
The velvet is so pretty on the tiara
I love it, it worked so much better than I expected 🖤🖤
If you spit on the blood, it'll disappear. Our spit neutralizes our blood. My mom told me about that...she's a quilter! :) Also, get a thimble...it saves the fingers! I LOVE how the tiara turned out. It's BEAUTIFUL!
Thank you 🖤 a few people have mentioned that, I’ve never heard it before - feels weird to try it 😄
I thin.k using a jeweler’s saw is needed to do this design. I love the idea.❤
Thanks for the tip, I didn’t even know that was a thing but that makes sense, jewellers have to cut their metal somehow😅
maybe something like a embroidery hoop holder or something of that kind would be a help holding the tiaras when u make them.
Oh that’s a good idea! ☺️
it looks so good!! i love it and i might also want one
and yes, sometimes we all need to channel our inner rachel maksy and 'good enough' it
Thank you 🖤 & I am almost always saying ‘good enough’ or ‘that’ll do’ in my head during makes 😂
I have no experience with making a crown, but for the cutting out of metal sheets I highly reccomend looking at a bench pin and using wire ish saw blades to cut in with up and down motions it's better on the hands and allows for more precise and smaller details!
Thank you so much for the advice 🖤🖤 I thought I ordered a much thinner metal and was so unprepared! 😂
beautiful! i love it!
Thank you! 😊
@@MadameMyriad you would make a perfect rapunzel for the live action!
Maybe they should invite me to the premiere 👀😂
This looks amazing lovely! I have definitely managed to stab myself with a needle when pushing it through particularly bulky fabric lol
Thank you 🖤🖤 Worst part was I was thinking I should probably go grab a thimble because this fabric is really thick, then I didn’t want to get up, then I stabbed myself and regretted it😂
@@MadameMyriad I actually made myself a leather thimble as I have longer nails and that has been an absolute life saver!
The leather ones look so good, I’ll have to upgrade 😄
hi , i have a suggestion, it whould have been much easier for you to use soda cans like Austin do. one great video to watch is Austin do reacting the queen's diamond diadem ❤
I’ve seen that video, I loved that project 🖤 I thought about using cans initially but decided against it as I was using fairly heavy glass stones and wanted to make sure it was sturdy (I know Austin Do uses foam to make it thicker but I’m trying my best to only use metal and glass materials where possible). Also I don’t think the can metals would have survived being dropped so quite much, my clumsy nature dictates I make everything as strong as possible 😂
tin snips or aviation snips to cut sheet metal. hardware store. much easier! scissors for soda can metal.
Yea I think I’m going to get a pair of my own tin snips so I don’t have to scramble to borrow some again 😅 they were a life saver
@@MadameMyriad aviation snips (left and right) go around curves much better but tin snips cut thicker metal!
Can you try to make queen Elizabeth´s sapphire & diamond tiara? That would be fun to watch on your channel. :)
I love that one! I definitely want to make a sapphire one soon 💙
Love your work ❤ maybe you could do with a mannequin head on a heavy base to work your tiaras on. It turned out amazing despite its falls hehe
Thank you 🖤 I think I might need something that can clip to a tiara to hold it still, I’m very clumsy I think I’d still knock it off a mannequin head 😄
@@MadameMyriad Feel free to ignore advice you didn’t ask for 😜 but what I have found helpful is to ask myself “What do the professionals do?” when trying to resolve a particular problem. Then I research the professional levels. Invariably, there will be an idea that I can translate into a domestic, affordable resolution.
It doesn’t mean you have to invest in professional level kit, but it does normally mean that someone in the trade has been there before and worked out the solution to a high standard. 🤷🏼♀️😁
That’s such a good approach, thanks so much for the advice 🖤 I will use it wisely 😄
👍🏻
Im now inspired for a Rapunzel tiara. I need therapy... I dont need more tiaras... (Shoves box under bed) No one seen that
You got those mixed up, it’s ’I don’t need therapy, I need more tiaras’ 😂👑
Its so delicate looking, despite being dropped 😂
To be fair it completely bent out of shape when I dropped it and my heart dam near stopped 😂 luckily making it with wire kind of makes it indestructible because it just bends back into place
@@MadameMyriad 😱 oh no! It looked ok in the vid. I'm glad you were able to bend it back. That really is an upside making it from wire
I think plasticine would be better as it does not dry out so much and not messy. Keep it in an air tight container. Love the crowns.
Thank you, that’s a good shout, I was genuinely thinking I might have to get playdou for next time 😄
It sounds crazy but your own spit will dream down your blood. Take it from an embroiderer 💜
Thanks for the tip, I don’t mind it on the tiara but I’ll definitely try that next time I accidentally bleed on a dress 😅
What about a styrofoam head to hold your tiara and some pointy hair clip type things to hold it on the styrofoam
It’s something I considered and I do technically have one now so I can try it but honestly I’m scared the glue might drip and I’ll glue them together by accident 😂 I’ve been thinking about getting a soldering clamp to try for my next one, a friend uses one for making cosplay accessories and recommended it
@@MadameMyriad put some plastic wrap over the head when using it then the glue won’t stick to it
Por favor recrea la tiara Vladimir eres un genio recreando tiaras de la familia real británica sique haciéndolas por favor
I can’t wait to make that one some day, I want to make sure I figure out a good technique to do it justice though 🖤
Thimble! Thimble well save your fingers with thicker fabrics 😊
I need to start using them, I’m getting way too many injuries lately 😅 I really want one of the leather ones, I feel like they’ll be easier to wear
Don’t cut toward your arm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Former Boy Scout, was always taught to cut away from my body. So many exclamation marks!😅
I know, I’m usually far more careful but my god there was no other way to hold that thing still 😂 clamps and tin snips for me here on out
Use your own spit to remove blood from the fabric. Whoever bled on it is who’s saliva will remove the blood from the cloth.
@@silvergypsylady Ice cold water removes blood very well, too. Hold the fabric under cold running water. You can watch the stain fade away... 😘
