15:45 it stops showing it protects itself from damage: true. But first and foremost it shows that such tool has not enough torque. A corded D400 from David Union (bigger and more expensive of course) does not have this issue.
I agree. This isn't for every project, but it's worked great for me. I have never had it stop itself, and I have pushed it pretty hard.. thanks for the input and for watching. Have a great weekend 👍
Just bought 2 of them along with extra heads and sandpaper. Paid much less for them. Hint: If you look around you should find some nice prices on these. This will save you a lot of time sanding small hard to reach areas and save your wrists .This review was well put together and very informative. Good Job Sir!
I can see it has it's place in our toolbox but one problem I see is getting into corners or a vertical surface. Since the action is reciprocating moving the tool close in will just work like a jack hammer and damage the tool's tip or your part. This is just my thought.
For the $$$ it's a really cool tool. I have been using it a lot and it has made sanding those tight spots a lot easier. Thanks for watching, have a great day.
Is the follow-up video still in the works? One of my concerns with the product long term is the battery life. As I understand it, the product won’t work while being plugged in for charging. If the battery runtime of 100 minutes drops very quickly to say 10 minutes after a year’s use, that would be a dealbreaker for me
Yes, I’m planning to do a follow-up video soon, hopefully in the near future. Regarding the battery life, I’ve been using it regularly and haven’t noticed any changes. Thanks for watching, and have a great weekend!
No, you can't use it while it's charging, I also wish if would run while charging. That said, it does charge up pretty fast. Thanks for watching, have a great week.
Hi there! This is a tool I'm rather keen on! One quick question about the Amazon link. The picture they have on this page is of the Dspiae sander, but the brand is listed as ANSAI. Is this actually a Dspiae, or is this another company? I'm a bit confused. Wanting to make sure I don't get an electric toothbrush in an unmarked box if I order. :)
Interesting, when I made the video, is was DSPIAE and not ANSAI. That said if you look under the product information section, it shows the Manufacturer is DSPIAE. So, yes; it's the right one. Here is a link to the DSPIAE web site as well: www.dspiae.com/productinfo/1155699.html Thanks for watching and have a great week.
David Union makes pen sander, only thing it's not battery powered, there is another firm that makes modellers sanding tool,I don't think you looked far in saying no other make a modellers sander
I did see the David Union 400 init but it is corded and a lot more expensive. I did a pretty good search for other cordless reciprocating sanders designed for scale models but I didn't find any. Can you send me a link to one? Maybe I can do a comparison. Thanks for watching, have a great weekend.
@PlasticImaginationWorkshop i think German firm made one. And you can buy other fittings for the union one. And the union has larger haed fittings. I suggest you can buy foam back sanding paper for the fittings for curved sections
Wow... talk about a pointless useless piece of kit that requires you to keep buying special kind of sandpaper. I'll stick to my regular sandsticks and sandpaper

can you use it while charging?
@@kramsogrub8104 Surprisingly, no, you can't.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention! It's a bit pricey but it will be a welcomed tool to my bench. 👍👍
It's been a great tool, and I've been using it a lot. Thanks for watching, and have a great weekend 👍

IF I WIN THE LOTTERY I MIGHT BE AVAILABLE TO BUY ONE, THEY ARE WAY OVER PRICED.
Yeah, it's not for everyone. Thanks for commenting and watching. Have a great weekend 👍

Any kind of sandpaper works just use double sided tape and cut to shape or as offered purchase the precut ones.
