Great, I was just about to cut up to fit a piece of Foil rigid foam backer to use but it is difficult to match something like that to a pipe opening. Foam in a can is so much easier to use!!! Thanks.
My issue is behind an already set in toilet, the person who did the drywall didn't do a good job at all. Is there anyway to redo drywall without removimg the toilet to get behind it?
Hi! I usually use paper tape on butt joints and corners, but there is nothing wrong on using paper tape on this project. I like to use mesh on odd small fixes like these, it’s just a lot easier to work with. 👍🏽😊

The insulating foam is it ok to use around heater pipe? Will it burn when it gets hot or let out any fumes?
Good process and technique. Suggestion when sanding, you should be wearing a respirator mask, that dust can be harmful!

Use wd-40 and spray the tube as soon as your done. it will eat all the foam spray the nozzle also and you'll never have any blockages again!!
