Lovely flosstube. I liked the way you presented your nearly bare thread box but in the next breath you were all Pip 'n' Chip!! I think you are finding your way in the cross stitch world very well 😊
Lovely to meet you! Another flosstuber mentioned you, Stitching by the Shore so I hopped on over to watch your first 2 flosstubes! Welcome! Wonderful first few videos!
Enjoying your floss tube I watch Catkin and Lily & she gave you a mention Can’t wait to see your NY as you stitch it! So brave! I’ve just gotten back to cross stitch thru helping my niece who got a kit for her birthday! I ended up doing it & when it was finished I felt a loss! It’s amazing how quickly the stash accumulates! Looking forward to your next flosstube
This was a fabulous watch; you did a great job...and there's no right or wrong way to do flosstube! I know I'm going to look forward to your videos as I love your WIPs...I think we enjoy quite a few of the same things 😄 That New York design is going to be stunning! Looking forward to more from you 💜
You did a fantastic job. There is no right or wrong way, everyone is different which is what makes any community beautiful. It can be very scary as well, I don't show my face and I still get nervous. Thank you for sharing and I hope you have a wonderful day 💗
Ah thank you so much Sarah. I wasn't sure whether to do the desk view thing but I have the software for my other video so I thought I would give it a go! The Coffee one is getting there now so I will be back on the NYC very soon.
I’m finally getting around to catching up with this, it’s a great flosstube! You’re doing so well with your different cameras and all that, I’m debating starting a flosstube but absolutely don’t have the tech skills needed, I’m too scared! I’m so wowed by your NY project, it’s amazing and I’m so impressed with you taking on such a big project, go you!
Thank you so much for your comment, much appreciated. Yes the NYC one is a bit of a challenge, I haven't done anything on it since this video! Go for it!!!!
Loved this Julie, so nice to see you with another passion and look forward to seeing those shopping hauls and finished projects! Just please don't let me start another craft :) xx
At the beginning you takes about not enjoying the white stitches on your Peachy stitch. When I had to do a similar single line fill in a friend gave me a ball tipped needle to try and it made a huge difference, I enjoyed stitching it again.
Of course cross stitching and buying cross stitching things are two completely separate hobbies!! Stitch on what you like - and can see!! Otherwise you won’t enjoy it! Looking forward to seeing your progress on New York!
Great video Julie, and I love your accent, are you in Yorkshire? My mum lives near Sheffield 😊 You really went big with that NY design, it’s going to be incredible! I don’t use a pattern tracker because I prefer paper patterns, but it is great to know what % progress you’ve made, especially with a huge project 👏 One final thing, I couldn’t tell if that big piece of aida was Zweigart (it has orange in the selvedge) but if it’s not I highly recommend you invest in aida from them. It really is the best stuff you can buy, and will give you the best results 👍
Hi there, thank you so much, yes I am from West Yorkshire. Yes the NYC design was a little ambitious!!! I've done paper patterns and on the ipad now and I am on a paper pattern for the NYC - so many pages! I've got some Zweigart fabric but I didn't know that's what was indicated by the orange edging - thanks for that - it's all learning for me!
Lovely video. I enjoyed the projects you shared. I’m watching in reverse order. How difficult is the Mark Up App to use? I’m not very technical and don’t want to waste my money if it’s something I can’t get to grips with. Hope your operation goes well and that you and hubby make a speedy recovery.
Hi there, I am finding Markup OK with PDFs although I have tried to upload images I've taken a photo of and made into a PDF without success. I much prefer MarkUp to a paper pattern
Great flosstube and already looking forward to the next one! Thanks Julie.
Thank you Karen for taking the time to leave me a comment
Hi! I enjoyed your flosstubes. Laura from Stitching by the Shore mentioned you and I'm glad she did! Thank you for sharing your work! It is awesome!
Thank you so much Pat
Enjoyed watching your 2nd video! That New York stitch is crazy - you're brave!
It really is but I like a challenge!
Lovely flosstube. I liked the way you presented your nearly bare thread box but in the next breath you were all Pip 'n' Chip!! I think you are finding your way in the cross stitch world very well 😊
Oh it doesn't take me long to get invested!!! Ha ha - check out Flosstube 3, there may be an appearance from a certain Pip & Chip!
Lovely to meet you! Another flosstuber mentioned you, Stitching by the Shore so I hopped on over to watch your first 2 flosstubes! Welcome! Wonderful first few videos!

Ah thank you for such a lovely comment! Sadly the New York hasn't had much love, I must rectify that this weekend!
@@PeachyStitcher Always a case of too much to stitch and not enough time !
Yep I stitched on 2 last night though in an attempt to spread the love!

You did great! There is absolutely no right or wrong way! Make your flosstubes to reflect you

Oooo I don't know what that is but I'll take a look thanks
@@PeachyStitcherI'll be talking about needles in a flosstube very soon and covering ball tip needles so watch out for that!

@@PeachyStitcher thanks for your reply. I’ll have a go with it. I just wish they would come out with Pattern Keeper for IOS
