- The main goal of this video was to introduce the forgotten facets of Khayyam's multidimensional genius. Poems attributed to Khayyam have cast a dense shadow upon his other major works, and his personality has been distorted by false interpretations of them. Various perspectives held by a number of scholars about the "Ruba'iyyat" and Khayyam's character has been re-introduced in some detail. Aside from introducing his works, however, we have also provided a summary of his life and education to the extent of our ability.

Khayam was not a sufi. He was definitely agnostic. Do not try to misrepresent. You didn't mention that he replaced the Islamic calendar by that one which we use nowadays

Hmm…so Khayyam is made up pretty much by the english translator? That’s too bad. I really liked The Rubaiyat. I guess you likely know better than me. I don’t speak Arabic.
it's clear that khayyam was not a muslim. His makes fun of islamic idea of god and universe.
