Ah I love this game and all the crazy skills it has, can not wait for the sequel, good job on getting every skill that must’ve taken quite a while to even get all of them

Thank you for your kind words! I am greatly looking forward to the sequel and optimistic that it will be good. And yeah, some skills were a real bear to get lol, like Thor's Axe, which can only be obtained by it randomly being added to a dungeon's title while exploring. ( I got lucky and got it in under an hour 👍)

Would definitely be cool to see a sequel or another game in it's style! Phantom Brave is one of my favorite NIS games, mostly for the story and world building.

Same! I was shocked how many there were when I made the video, I believe there are over 500 skills lol!

glad i found this video after the sequel announcement(!!!!) i used a jar on marona and grass I think on my other main unit, but there are just so many skills I've never seen, I can't believe rocks and bricks have skills that run off of INT. Great video, I can't imagine the grind that went into this, I'm actually gonna stop watching halfway so I can see whatever wacky skills are on the items I never gave a chance before on my next run!

Glad you liked the video! This is one of my favorite NIS games for its great story (chapter 3 and the ending are my favorite!) and variety of abilities and builds. This video was a real grind lol, it was one of my earliest videos, had 500+ clips, hard to organize, etc, but I was happy with the end results. Some skills can only be found in the random dungeons, attached to titles, or only appear if you equip a monster with a particular item type. By the end of this video, I knew the game inside and out lol!
I played through with a crew of six I think, which were an axe warrior, hammer blacksmith, staff Marona, dagger Ash, book witch, and spear valkyrie, fused to have abilities from other weapons, particularly elemental skills (I wish the game labeled elemental attacks, many skill are associated with an element without it being obvious haha). Good luck on your next run! Don't forget blacksmith and fusionist levels effect mana cost for their services!

Thanks, this is by far the longest video of this type I have done, it was pretty dreadful collecting and editing lol! The moves in this game are some of the most crazy/odd moves I have seen in an NIS title.

I hate skills that remove our equipment! That handicap is not necessary and has no strategic value

Yeah, they would make sense if they hit extra hard but you risk losing your item, but they seemed as strong as any other move. And dear goodness if the enemy picked up a powerful weapon of yours lol!

You can usually pick up the weapon after. And it does in fact have strategic value even if only a bit. With the fact that you can boost the confine buffs of your own items giving a item masssive confine buffs then using an attack that gets rid of it so you can use those buffs does have some value ( or alternatively this lets you use the same weapon with multiple units which means you can save on confine slots by not giving some units a weapon and just having them pick up the weapon that was just dropped and passing it around) archers are the most relevant use case because of quick attack they can guarantee the enemy doesn’t get the chance to pick up the weapon and if you are doing this for using the item as a high value confine target archers are unusually happy to not have a weapon. Their default attack is really good relatively speaking with how long range it is.

There's so many of them too. A shame because a lot of them look really cool and I would love to spam them without the hassle/risk of retrieving the item after
