Matsuri: It’s not often I have HoloStars appearing in my comments! It’s probably because Matsuri always end up scaring them off anytime she interacts with them 😂
A little funny coincidence is that Axel wants to see if it's possible to organize a HoloBaka contest and some time ago Matsuri had that same idea as well, they should really just work togheter on it.
As someone who watches all sorts of vtubers(whether its from a big agency, small agency, indie, and no matter what gender), I can confirm Matsuri visits and comments to a lot of them lol. Theres so many times that I tune in on live streams, and then suddenly she visits and comments, even to vtubers(guy and girl equally) that you dont see her collab or interact a lot.
Axel is a pretty nice guy. Doesn't really matter who shows up in his chat, if it's a senpai he'll show up in their stream to send his own message to return the favor.
That last bit is the real deal. Matsuri has appeared in Axel's chat on occasion (speaking in, more or less, the same blended-in style lol) both before and after the time of this stream. She's always been willing to connect with other talents tho, irrespective of branch, but it's cool to see how she acts on the receiving end.
As a very new beginner to learning Japanese, I’ve often found it difficult to determine what the subject is of a sentence. It seems to be implied a lot. Glad to see it’s not just me, even natives irl are asking Matsuri what the subject of her sentences are lol.
It's also something that throws machine translations off. For anyone who's ever seen google translates gives you weird stuff about how "I" or "she" or "he" is doing something when it makes no sense, it's because the subject was implied and the machine had no idea who the sentence was about so it will just randomly pick a pronoun. So a Miko tweet saying like "I burned my house down!" being replied to by a Japanese fan will literally say "very dangerous shrine priestess", but what he means is "She (MIko) is a very dangerous shrine priestess" but the google does not know that so lots of times you'll get stuff like "I'm a very dangerous shrine priestess" because it has no idea of the context so just decided to go with "I" this time.
@@porkcutlet3920 It's just that Japanese doesn't have too many conjugations that imply the subject. For example, in Armenian, we have conjugations of the copula "To be" that imply the subject without putting the pronoun in. For example: Ուզում եմ(Uzum Em(I)want it) Ուզում էնք(Uzum Enq(We) want it) Ուզում է(Uzum E(They(singular) want it) Ուղում են(Uzum En(They(plural) want it). I don't know how many languages have this but Armenian does. Maybe some languages with grammatical gender have it too, Idk. Oh, and btw, you read my examples exactly as you see them(Hint: Not an English way of pronouncing it).
Brian was probably hidden in comments because of his new name. Though it's always nice to see fellow holomem's watching other holomem's, and Matsuri's reaction is super cute.

she is working with company that has legal working permits with copyrights and all. she is only saying please say if its AI art if you make it from AI, instead of saying you made it yourself like any other human artists
yeah it's gotten to a point that even on pixiv people have to explicitly tag their art as AI if it is, otherwise they will either be shunned or banished entirely. AI art is good for some things, like vin diesel being megaman but people shouldn't claim they created it when it was auto generated.
@@professorpenne9962 AI art technology will be very very beneficial to human artists too. but the only problem is where the AI got their data to train? if all their training data is legal they are wonderful
@@lqfr8813 yeah that's where it's a grey area for sure, legalities. it had to generate the art from somewhere, right? as a tool for new artists to practice drawing over, awesome. sadly some people will go on websites like twitter where art isn't very well regulated and just claim they made what was generated by a program.
@@professorpenne9962 there is another way to make it legal. generate from AI program using prompt no art reference from other artists, if the user draw themself by using the generated AI art as reference, that will be a legal art from human. . as far as i know, as long as the prompt doesnt use reference art from any artist, they wont have similar results to any art on internet. . the examples you saw on some posts about how it is very similar to original art, im pretty sure they use it as reference to generate new AI art
Even if that's not what Matsuri meant, that's what it comes down to. A.I. "art" is all about maximizing the technique, but at the expense of the "soul" of the artist.
I guess when she talked about "love", the effort behind it was implied as indirect reflection of creator's intent, rather than direct self-expression of the artist
@@MrCh0o Her first tweet about the AI fan arts is literally just the same "please draw fan arts by hands" and "please do not post AI art as fan art and/or claim as your own art" that others are asking about as well, which is a very normal thing to ask since AI art is pretty much an copyright hell hole at the very start without even talking about all the other problems, the ppl rage off yelling "you calling us don't have love?" is just ppl that wants to rage for the reason of raging or drama.
I mean, she would be right about AI art anyway if she said it had no heart. I admit that it can produce a generally ‘good’ result these days (provided you aren’t looking too closely), but the ‘style’ it generates is becoming bland and homogenised. Even the Anime Waifu images have a certain sameness to them that’s somehow more noticeable than the obvious anatomy mistakes. It feels like they were made on an assembly line. Just taking pieces and putting them together for the most ‘pleasing’ result.
As long as they chase the "optimal" result that's based on the perfect average preference, I suppose so. The goal is probably to make stuff indistinguishable from something drawn by a human at this point, which is easier to do by eliminating other variables and making tons of similar results, while diversifying is the next stage once that is achieved
I know it's not the entire point here, but wouldn't it be rather easy to just add an ai art tag? Spoken of course as an individual who produces no art of any sort.
Eh it's not really necessary, since talents will ego search anything with their content on it. Sure, making an AI art tag makes it easier, but it really depends on how eager is the talent willing to look at them anyway
@@SoraRaida true that. It does seem like an efficient way to silence the controversy though. That said, it's really just another proof that If sentient ai is possible, we won't know it's there until it is, and probably has been.
