I was really struggling about how parenting game objects work. This video had a lot of insights that helped me fix weird issues I was facing with scaling and rotation. It had been a while since I stumbled upon this channel but it feels that every time I get stuck I had someone to help me out. This tutorial really got me great understanding of why things work the way it works. Thanks all to you for that. 😇
Woahh! This means a lot!! I'm glad the video helped!! Thank you so much for your constant support 😭❤️ I feel like I don't deserve this, but it feels awesome at the same time... I will start uploading shorts as well which is easier for me to make but still want to give some value to it.
Thank you very much! The suggestions are great will add them to my list! I've also done my research on the new splines package as suggested, and things are looking good! I might also make a video on the Animator component as well.
transform.up, right, and forward, are vectors that represent a direction that faces the local up, right, and forward of the object. Try this: Extend your right arm, and point it towards your right, while your face is still pointed forward. No matter how you rotate your body, the right arm rotates along with you. Just like transform.right. They are just LOCAL DIRECTIONS. They could be used for rotating, but that is complex mathematics.
YO ma brother! Amazing vid... Sub#441, it must be the amount of vids and devs on RUclips that make your channel not bigger, or (to be honest) it could be the 'welcome to my channel' vid you have.... ;-) but I'm so so glad that I found this video And your channel.... Cool that you are also giving classes on the paid websites. I hope to show you some of my devellopment in the future. Cheers from Holland and have a great weekend Anan. ;-) Jake.
Woah! Thanks. Would love to see your progress. Come join the Discord club! And to be honest, I wish I could work on more videos, I do look at the metrics, but hey, as long as it helps at least one person somewhere in this world, it is always worth it!
