with that cement mixer, if you are on your own, you can tip the mixer onto the brum opening then slid the bottom section in, you can then push the the mixer up onto the legs,

Looking good James have you tried silicone in your gutter joints that should stop the leaking even if you put new up always silicone your joints as the rubber will always perish over time but silicone won’t it’s a messy job but mite save you a few quid in new guttering 👍

MAKE SURE YOU PUT LIGHTS IN YOUR POND... sorry for Caps but you HAVE to put lights in the pond ... will deffo make a great view in the evenings when you chilling in your garden. :) and only put WHITE lights not those colour ones... you want to see the colour of the fish so white is best if you get those colour lights that do white only SOME of those led bulbs on them are white the rest are wasted on the other colours, so it has to be only white led units. Great job mate looks impressive, keep it up.

Great progress. Regarding the cement mixer, you tip the barrel on it's open front face down on the ground then put the stand in, and then hold the gandles and upright it from the front. This all brings back the memories. I had never laid a brick or mixed cement in my life until I built an 8500 litre Koi pond last year. The satisfaction doing block work and seeing it taking shape is off the scale ha. It was biblical rains and after digging 4x2 metres and 2 feet deep in the ground it all filled up in an afternoon with rain water. Weeks went past before I could continue and all done 3 hours a day while my toddler slept and before it got dark at 4:30pm! I was broken but so HAPPY! Every stage was nerve racking and I took three plum levels off every brick out of paranoia so my welded liner would measure up perfect after. I rebranded Cuttle Brook Koi Farm and over the years have been getting some very special Koi from them. All bread in the UK, same quality as Japanese but you are not paying Japanese prices. Mark who owns the farm worked for years in Japan in all the famous koi houses and has a very good relastionship with the big koi houses. So he knows first hand about breeding etc and bought back top Japanese breeding parents and continued over here for years now. I'm only mentioning this as they sell their koi every month online Saturdays 10am and you need to log on at 10am or you will lose out and you will save money on the big fish which are very special and they courier 100's of boxes around the UK after every sale. That's the best bit... stocking it. Carl & Alex visited them and did a RUclips video on them last year to get a feel for the size of the place. Keep up the hard work mate it looks awesome and can't wait to hear you rant about the costs of coping stones!!! I'm still getting over it lol.
