Watching flight reviews whilst in lockdown in Sydney. I miss flying so much! Emirates first class is the best flight in the sky imo.
I flew Etihad A380 Apartments to and from Sydney last year, before the pandemic. I miss it so much. What an unreal experience. Hope to try Emirates F soon too

I took my dad to Dubai on Emirate 1st class for his retirement gift. Yes it’s spectacular. The bad thing is it makes it so much harder to fly coach again. But it’s an experience I won’t ever forget.
I can agree. I recently flew the Emirates business class for the first time and now I don't want to sit in economy😬. Really changed the travel style for me.

Damn, you know you’re in a different league when you’re able to notice an incorrect caviar spoon. I eat with a regular knife, fork and spoon and what they’re made of? I have no idea.
It must be exhausting to be wealthy, you know……all that utensil pressure.

I'm fascinated to see how you're able to book these amazing first class flights for so little. Seems like when I look they're always egregious. Also, for what it's worth, though caviar has traditionally been served on mother of pearl spoons it's only because it's been consumed for far longer than stainless steel or plastic was available. The best "silverware" of old was indeed silver because it has a natural antibacterial property. Unfortunately, caviar oxidizes with contact of silver leaving a metallic taste. In modern times with blind taste tests there is no difference with mother of pearl, stainless steel or even plastic. So mother of pearl is probably more in line with the cost and glamour of this experience, the fact that you can only use it with caviar is a bit passé.

Love your reviews. Down to earth, friendly, professional. Keep up the great work. Can you also do a tutorial for miles bookings? I checked this individual flight and you are right it is possible for a fair amount of miles (I found 130.000 Skywards + 630€). Using AmEx MR Transfers this has a cash equivalent price of only 810€+630€ = 1440€, which is great. However, in many cases, miles cost much more or you need many more miles than some travel bloggers claim (probably to get you to get a new credit card for which they receive points). More tutorials on the differen major carriers (Etihad, LH, Singapore, United, etc.) would be great!
Extraordinarily spectacular, with impeccable service! Emirates seems to be in a league of its own when it comes to COVID, with implementing innovative technologies/solutions to make the world move. Despite no shower experience, the “game changer” Suite, more than made up for it. Thanks once again for sharing ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My pleasure Nacho - glad you enjoyed it. It's certainly a unique product quite unlike the majority of what's flying at present. It is a shame not having the first class 'shower' experience, but you're right the overall privacy and wow factors make up for it.

One of the things I keep wondering about these luxury airline videos is if you get to keep those amenity kits, and if you are allowed to, do you bring them back and keep them? With how much flight you have, you must have a huge collection lol
You do get to keep them and I do take them home. I’ve got a huge collection 😅 I try to give lots of them away to family and friends where I can.

I fly from SLC to AMS on Delta frequently and sometimes the little old business class is more than that! I think it is a good deal.

Just watching that was a pleasure, so thank you, you should do something about getting to & from Australia as our tourist industry got majorly screwed over this covid thing & because of the long flight times you could really enjoy the trip. When I used to travel I used Singapore airlines & found their service top shelf, even from the poor seats, ( I do not work for them in any way, just happy with their service ).

I flew Australia > Singapore > Munich > Manchester (Broken up obviously, 8h stopover in Singapore) and it was ROUGH, had a sore neck for a week afterwards

Reminds me of my Aer Lingus flight from Birmingham to Belfast at a whopping £40 return and £60 return taxi fare, yes taxi was more. And by the time I sorted the seatbelt out it was time to put it back on and land. All in all, 1 hour in taxi, 35 minutes on plane!

That is def a hang up if you aren’t traveling alone. It makes business class better on most airlines.

1:57 Ahhh, Dubai airport, one of the fanciest airports I have been to yet they still have gate signs that are beyond glitchy.
Thats the camera framerate, it does it to any computer screen
For me it was one of the worst airports. We had to take a standing only shuttle to the airport from the plane. We waited 30 minutes in the heat because of course they had no ac. Then I got a chicken meal in the airport and my first week in Korea were spent recovering from food poisoning. If I could skip that airport when making trips I'd be happy. Only Degault and Kennedy are worse to me.

have tired a few carviars, I think bulga black was by far the most amazing. It truly is an incredible addition to a meal or by itself with some extra salt and accompanied cheeses!

I've done this a few times, where I just bought miles for a flight, and if you catch the right sale, it can be a fraction of the price.

I love your reviews, especially of the business and first classes, but this episode--your sound mix is quite uneven. Parts of it are too quiet, and parts are too loud. But it is really interesting, the things you find out about these airlines. This Emirates Airlines first class: do they have a special name for it? You know, to match "Etihad: The Residence"? :-) Thanks!
