    I’m so glad I found your tutorial! I bought the patina pastes awhile ago and was afraid to try it. You made it look so easy and so beautiful! I’m now excited to try it on a metal wall compass and hope it turns out as well as your projects. 😊

    Thank you so much for showing us both sets! I just got the patina set last night and haven't played just yet but I really think this set would look amazing on my wedding center pieces!! It is a nautical theme but more so vintage, old, distressed nautical. I can't wait!

    Hi, does it make a difference what your base color is? For instance could you use this over black? Thanks

    • @KerenTamir
      @KerenTamir  3 года назад

      no it doesn't the pastes give really good coverage so wether you put black or white it should be fine. I've even used it without gesso underneath

    I hope one day to get items enough collected to justify buying these and your creations look really lovely. They would be much easier to see though, if the video were a higher resolution 💗

    • @KerenTamir
      @KerenTamir  7 лет назад

      This works on basically anything. Even stuff from the dollar store or flee market made out of plastic, wood, metal. You can recycle anything. In hers of resolution there’s nothing I can do as it’s a recording from a Facebook live show and they decide the resolution.

    • @KerenTamir
      @KerenTamir  6 лет назад

      I think yes but not 100% sure. do you mean like Fimo?

    • @christinaaugustine27
      @christinaaugustine27 6 лет назад

      Keren Tamir ... Yes Keren, Polymer clay like Fimo and Premo Sculpey . Thank you for replying ;-)

    • @KerenTamir
      @KerenTamir  6 лет назад +1

      I would say yes. That it would work because it’s no diffeeent than the creall I used. I would think though that you would have to really soften it so it is easier to shape inside the mould. These are silicone molds so if you’ve used any type of other silicone moulds then this one would be no exception.

    Karen how do you fix dried up pastes, I keep searching for a cure to no avail. Thanks

    • @KerenTamir
      @KerenTamir  5 лет назад +1

      Unfortunately you can’t. You can add water and use the color of the rust but once it’s dry I haven’t been able to revive mine. Not sure if Anna (Finnabair) has found a solution. One of the tips that I should’ve given in this video is to add Saran Wrap between the kid and the pot every time you seal it so it doesn’t dry. I know also people add a little water after every use. But that’s only for new pastes.

      Hey Kari, yes they were actually meant to be used together as well!! they go hand in hand I'm so sorry I didn't get your email. I usually reply to people right away so if you don't hear from me then it means I didn't get it. check the spelling of my name in the email. Many people write Karen instead of Keren and then the email doesn't get here. please send it again
