►Brief Summary of the Video: On our way back from a road trip to Zion National Park in Utah, Dave and I stopped at the abandoned royal hawaiian motel thats been abandoned for YEARS now. Built a few decades ago this motel was more of a small hotel that was a nice getaway from the death valley heat. Surrounded by palm trees and showcasing a nice pool, this motel was actually really nice. Shame it went abandoned.

Use to live in Baker, stayed in room twelve with my very young children. Worked across the street from it. Place was called Pikes. Did they ever put the thirty foot fence around Baker? Not let anyone in for forty years, and see what survived. Just asking..... Cop told me that once. I thought it a joke, then I lived there another couple years. You were exploring the old family house up stairs. It was very nice. Dad had died suddenly and when oldest son died mom kinda lost interest in the place.

Nice. Doesn't look so royal anymore. I'm guessing it went under since these days most people just continue driving to Vegas. Back in the day cars weren't as fast and it took longer to travel - so people needed to stop and sleep more often.

I was out there recently pretty cool got some cool shots on my Polaroid the place was really sketchy when I was the there were two cars parked outside probably some crackheads or something but in the video when the part of the motel was partly burned down pretty sure some riots happens there around 2003 and that may some remains from that and I am pretty sure the motel shut down for good around 2009

You should carry a current tester. They're cheap and small, like a thick pen. They have a plastic tip that lights up near live wires. And you can also put it into an power socket to check for current.
I say that cuz I saw you get close to wires on that ladder, and it's better to be safe bro. Besides, you should stock up on gear for your future exploration of Waverly Hills Sanatorium. (Hint hint) 😃

Hahaha oh god the one outside Vegas? I almost got arrested there three times getting in by 3 different security guards in the same day. We pretended to walk away everytime until they were out of sight and then we went back LOL

@@AdventuringwithTrevor lol yes 😂 the front door to the left was locked so we couldn't get in. So then I walked up to the guard tower on the outside of the prison and went to the top. We were up there for 5 minutes before the cops rolled up. I at least got a few shots so I'm happy 😂
