Ingredients & measurements:
Green tomatoes - 3-6 large ones
All-purpose flour - 2 cups
Italian-style bread crumbs - 1 cup
Yellow corn meal - 1 cup
Salt - 2tsp
Pepper - 1 tsp
Cayenne pepper - 1/2 tsp (or to taste)
Buttermilk - 1/2 cup
Eggs - 2
Creole seasoning and/or canun seasoning - 1 tsp
Vegetable oil for frying
