Today Arena All Stars (CIS reworkers and artists team united by The Prodigy) have uploaded their recreation of «Heatwave» - fantastic unreleased banger from The Prodigy Archives. The track was played live only a few times in 2005 and 2006 and there are still no proper recordings of it.
Back in 2015 The Prodigy released «Rebel Radio» featuring some recognizable elements from «Heatwave». Unfortunately, the original one was never released.
Liam Howlett was inspired by the compilation of 60s psychodelic rock called «Nuggets: Original Artyfacts From The First Psychedelic Era 1965-1968». He sampled four songs from it and compiled the legendary «Heatwave».

“Heatwave Hurricane whirling in my head, cool disposition just hanging by a thread” this tune would have fitted in well in ‘AONO’ album.
This track to me always sounded like a mix between AONO and Invaders Must Die. Which makes sense because it was written between it. The synth at @0:50 sounds very Invadersish.

Intro samples Bardo's "5 years ahead of my time" which featured on Liams 'Back to mine' He also produced Primal Screams cover of the same track so he was toying with a bunch of ideas around that track/sample.

It’s sound like Spitfire (same drum sample) and Medicine. the guitar sample is great. Honestly, i prefer this song, Wildwest and black smoke than the Half of the last album ( sorry for my English, i’m from Québec)
