Also Usman won’t go up in weight I don’t see it happening, so really he has to accept he’s just going to be a title fight gatekeeper for a year or two. Crazy sequence change from being champ to that, probably regrets the words he was saying about all the champion business with the UFC being the champ entails. Bet he will miss it 20/20 hindsight
I never thought kamaru would look human again. Such a dominant champ. That head kick destroyed his confidence, without that kick kamaru would've probably dominated Leon. Props to Leon, he won the fight, hope he makes a great champion.
He obviously isn’t a roid freak anymore. Using them eventually catches up to u. Complete different fighter now. Can’t last 5 rounds. Look at the volume compared to his other 5 round fights. I think his only boring fight as champ was Masvidal v Usman 1. Aside from that, every single fight was electric and entertaining from start to finish. He has no need to hang his head low, because he achieved every MMA’s fighters dream. When it was his time, he was unstoppable, the pound for pound #1 fighter in the world, undefeated in the UFC, and considered one of the greatest of all time. I feel for Usman but at the same time I’m happy for Edwards. Father Time beats us all.

UFC IS RIGGED 💯 ROBBERY
Usman is all show for the camera. He reminds me of LeBron when it comes to always trying to control the narrative. “Uhh.. well uhh you know I’ve always given Leon his props…” Meanwhile the whole time what he was really saying ever since he woke up from the headkick was “We’ve fought for 10 rounds and other than some moments in the 1st round and the last few seconds of the last round, Leon hasn’t shown me anything that makes him better than me anywhere.” Big switch up.

It’s simple really from a fighters mindset. The cameras and event ordeal make it more hectic but Usman knows he won’t contest for the belt while Leon’s champ probably ever again. Also Usman won’t go up in weight I don’t see it happening, so really he has to accept he’s just going to be a title fight gatekeeper for a year or two. Not a big fan of him personally but he was a solid champ. He fought as often as he could, whoever they put in front of him, and his fights were exciting. Both those fights with Colby were incredible. Happy for Leon, but congrats to Kamaru on a solid run and ability to handle the losses well.
