They should make a payware module of the SU-34. Even if they don't get a hold on all the info they need they could make a pretty good one anyway.
At least we wouldn't have that jarring difference between the exterior and interior cockpit view.

Great video CAP like always my mods are heavily moded what I mean by that is that I learned the hard way I have learned to change into other cockpit's and to edit luas in order to use some of the weapons that you can't use because of ED programing but that's why they are called mods learn has we go of course I always recommend to use a mod enabler with it you wont corrupt your DCS main install I personally use JSGME take care and stay safe.

I'm like you cap. I may try out allot of the mods, I usually end up deleting them. With the exertion of the C130 Hercules & A-4E. Since I own 95% of DCS"s Modules, I'd rather use them. But the mods are fun to play around with :)
Ya the A-4E is as good as any paid module as far as im concerned.

For the Bomber i would prefer no cockpits, if they are fighter cockpits.
But then the mod couldnt be programed since you need a cockpit to maje a plane :/

I have never looked into what the large phallic extension is on the back of the Su-34. Is it radar or just a parachute?
The boom / fuselage extension / disturbingly prominent giant metal phallus contains both a rearward scanning warning radar and drag parachute to reduce the length of runway needed for a landing.
I've always liked the Su-34. As well as its unusual but sleek appearance it seems to be a well thought out strike aircraft whose design incorporates a number of combat proven features such as the reducing pilot workload by having a second crew member and putting them in side by side seating like the F-111, as well as A-10-style titanium armour around the cockpit and essential systems that can withstand 30mm rounds which should make low level attacks slightly less terrifying and more survivable. On top of that it's cockpit is apparently relatively spacious with room to stand and move around and it's equipped with a small galley, toilet, and space to relax or sleep for crew comfort on long missions - a feature also found on the B-2. Its rearward early warning radar will sound a warning if an enemy aircraft approaches and provides targeting and guidance information that in combination with all-aspect air-to-air missiles allows the plane to engage enemy aircraft to its rear. It can't match the Strike Eagle for weapons load but 8000kg is still pretty good and both aircraft are built around the philosophy that a strike bomber should be able to accurately deliver a serious quantity of both dumb and smart ordnance over a long range and at any altitude from the stratosphere down to the treetops, while also having the ability to handle itself in a scrap with other aircraft in case it has to fight its way in or out. (That said, the Sukhoi is obviously more optimised for ground attack while the Strike Eagle was adapted from a design that was originally intended for the air superiority role and nothing else - "Not a pound for air to ground" as the saying went)

There used to be these exact mods without the stock cockpits. Like for the Su-34 and Su-24 for instance, is it possible to remove these cockpits and stick with the mod ones?
Edit: I still got my hands on the Tu-22M3 without the obnoxious Su-25T cockpit.

@@rubiconnn you realize blue afterburners is actually a thing on a lot of russia's stuff right? you could've literally looked up any photo of the SU34 in afterburner and seen it is in fact... blue. Blue means the engine is burning the fuel at peak efficiency and there is no carbon in the exhaust being burned to create that yellow / red hue.

Yeah, umm.. The inside of the su34 doesn't look modeled correctly. It's a tandum airframe.. It didn't look tandum when u were in the internal view...

Did you ever figure out y ur missile exploded early?
Force field duu... More likely that the missile is programmed with a maximum time of flight before it self destructs and he shot it from too far away maybe???
