Just bought my second replacement... I'm going to try again...LOL... Same problem. Gone. BUT This time I'm going to do what Tony said and HEAT the tab to get a better lock. When I snapped in the last (and now missing again) replacement it went in but apparently didn't snap in properly. Thanks for the tips!
Yeah it seems to be a poor design unfortunately. Just be careful when heating not to bend it too much, the plastic can be brittle.
Wondering if you can explain how to remove the old reflector out. Ordered a new one and need to get the old one out that has been shattered.
Just reverse order of installation. You could either lay under the Jeep and reach up behind the bumper to push outward on the reflector, or you could try to pry it out from the outside, but be careful not to scratch any paint. You'll want to pop out the end of the reflector that's closest to the center of the vehicle first, then the whole thing will pull out.

How did you hear it with out bending it? Makes me nervous lol
I did bend it, I just didn’t break it haha. Used a lighter like I said to heat the tab a bit and then it moved very easily, just need to be careful. Then let it sit for a few minutes to cool and stiffen back up before installing.
