I rent a 2020 HST recently and figured all this out. I never see anyone use front fogs or rears on a sport.. Buying a Sport next year

It's surprising how many people are unaware of the rear fog lights in their cars. However, the good news is that some car brands such as Range Rover and German brands have made it default to off when the car is shut off. On the other hand, Tesla's fog lights remain enabled. It seems that most people are confused or assume that the rear fog light is the front fog light in other car brands.

Hi Eddie. I have a question about a different car. I have a 2015 x5m
and im not sure why but the fog lights dont come on at all. The two little lights at the front. The green light on the dash to show them on comes on but when i go to the front of the car they are off. It has the laser light set up but not sure if that has anything to do with it

If your switch is on but the fog lights aren't, check the basic things:
Check the bulbs. Very rarely both go at the same time but there could have been some freak accident where they failed after hitting a giant pothole, or the connectors to the bulbs came loose.
Check the fuse/relay for the fog lights. A bad fuse and / or relay will cause them not to work as well. Lastly, if you have power going to the lights, the fuse isn't blown or relay is working, check the ground cable on the fog lights. Loose ground will obviously cause an incomplete circuit
