We're probably not going to get Mangham, although I would love to see him at Michigan. Mangham has a brother who plays RB who is also in the transfer portal, and I''m sure that he wants go where his brother goes. However Michigan doesn't need another RB.

Agreed. Warren showed the most potential. Get him experience early in the season. Bring in Orji for short yardage. Bring in Tuttle to manage and close out 4th quarter blowouts.

I wouldn't make Orgi beat Texas or USC with his arm. I'd ask him to move the chains. I would however unleash that can of whoop ass aka his running ability. Make him slide and run out of bounds but let the dawg light them up. Let teams know their defenses have to prepare for him. Free The Don up to run wild.
Honestly I do believe it’s a toss up at QB. Though I would love to see Orji take the first snap. Ultimately we gotta trust that the coaches will make the best decisions to put this team in a winning position. It’s worked the last 3 years so I’m looking forward to see what coach Moore is going to do. GO BLUE!!
Excited to see how this coaching staff handles things as well. At the end of the day, they know best out of everybody and they are going to play the best players that give them the best chance to win. Go Blue!!〽

It's unlikely that Orji is an NFL QB prospect, so he should move to WR now. He's got the same ht/wt as DK Metcalf. He'd increase his draft chances dramatically.

Tuttle never played behind a quality offensive line. This ain't Indiana. If he has time to throw, he can slice and dice.....
And with experience comes wisdom.....
If Orji can't shore up his accuracy and become a passer rather than just a thrower, that would make the offensive way too one dimensional.....
We need someone at QB who can go over the top. The opposing defenses need to fear that could happen. That ability opens up the run game. They can't crowd the box or they'll get burned deep.....

@@23tails15 The run game should be good again. Hopefully that helps open the passing game a bit and makes it easier on whoever the starting QB is. The good thing is that we shouldn’t have to ask for too much from the offense because I think the defense should be able to carry the team and keep them in games. As usual, several fans incorrectly presume the back-up QB Tuttle is the best choice. Why?
He can and will push for the job because he has a lot to offer. He was a high 4-Star prospect that has been sitting behind two guys that just got drafted in the first round but he also has experience starting games in the Big Ten (Penix was hurt in 2020 and 2021). His last two years as a backup he has attempted 39 passes and completed 82% of them for two TD's and no INT's. He's probably more athletic than you're aware of as well.
At any rate, I'm good with Tuttle, Orji, or Warren. If any one of those guys were to enter the portal right now they'd be one of the best QB's still available.

You realize Those other RBs weren’t even on our radar.. they only showed interest once he got here.. losing Davis wasn’t on him.. it’s NIL.. Kentucky offered him triple.. it’s on Warde not Tony
