- hi all! happy belated 2022, this is my late 6 month japanese immersion learning update (should've posted this nearly a month ago lol.) feel free to subscribe to follow my journey and comment below how your immersion is going 😎

Let's GOOOO!!! Just remember progress is progress and health should always come first, good on you for staying consistent regardless of the situation - at the end of the day immersion is always more important than anki so mine at your own pace and keep up the good work!!

I was just wondering if you'd be making a 6 month update soon since I watched your 3 month update somewhat recently and now it's here! Congrats on 6 months! Love hearing about your progress and journey, plus your editing style and voice is soo relaxing. I hope your health is improving these days.
Also, if you like japanese dramas, I recommend Todome no Kiss with YamaKen as well!

great job making it to 6 months! even with getting sick, it’s good to know that you’re still continuing the journey. i’m about to finish tango n5 and then i’ll immerse while doing n4.
ah thanks! i’m definitely still as passionate to keep at it despite the sudden hiccups haha. and yay you’re almost done with n5 how exciting!! best of luck with doing n4 and immersion, you got this!
Hey, great update. I enjoyed listening to both this one and the first. Glad to hear you're making sure your health comes first, while still not letting difficulties stop you from making progress, even if it wasn't quite is much as you wanted.

If you go through the grammar guide early, the quality of your immersion will skyrocket. That was my biggest mistake, I waited too long to read the grammar guide. Wasted so many months. If I’d have just read it, I would have got to my level in nearly half the time.

and can I ask how you made your anki & deck cards look that good? I feel like if mine looked that good it'd motivate me just that bit more lol, especially the cards that have the same text background as refold but green (if that makes sense?), if theres any specific add-ons that you could recommend i'd love to try them
ps; if the green refold text background thing is a specific deck or scripts in styling/back/front then i'd love for you to teach me how use them/mine with them because i tried tinkering around with the refold code to no avail 😓

as for my old mining card layout, i took the refold code and just tinkered around with it - here's the pastebin code for all of that ( pastebin.com/dpVMRiyX )
i will warn you that the code is kinda broken on ankiweb but does work fine on anki desktop. i also don't use this card layout anymore for my mining deck since i switched over from using yomichan to migaku and made a whole new deck. please let me know if you would want me to go more in depth with editing or sharing more of my mining process!!

Is it okay if i also get the new deck/card layout for your new migaku mining deck layout? I actually switched to migaku about 2 weeks ago so any mining tips would also be appreciated since i'm still a novice miner!
and I'm sorry for asking so many questions but, can I also know where you get these really cool backgrounds that you use for anki? i really love the aesthetic pixelated chill ones, and i dont know where to find more like them lol

it's a vocab card but you can adjust the cards to make it sentence in the front if you would like. i also included some important notes within the pastbin so please make sure to read that beforehand.
for my background i honestly just google searched "pixel anime wallpaper" or "aesthetic anime wallpaper" in google. i also found this website that has some pretty nice pixel wallpapers so hopefully you can find something you like: wall.alphacoders.com/by_sub_category.php?id=209352&name=Pixel+Art+Wallpapers

hello! thanks so much for dropping by. the cards in that timestamp were used via a pitch accent file on yomichan - i currently just use the pitch accent add on via migaku
