Some instrumental passages give me Jethro Tull vibes, like from 4:49 to 4:58. But then again, both of these band's music are similarly complex. I love Jethro Tull, so no wonder I love Kansas....
Same but reverse it. I love Kansas so when I first heard thick as a brick, songs from the woods, and passion play they were instantly favorites of mine.

Love this song! Has a bit of fusion along with heavy rock elements that work really well. I wish they would have continued in this direction.
