Ram Dass never thought of himself as 'hardcore' popping lsd. This whas simply his doorway in to, wanting to explore the realms of consciousness. Also, in his quest, going to India and meeting Maharaji, Ram Dass never 'wanted' to have Maharaji take the lsd, and by no means at all wanting him to have a severe re-action to it; it was Maharaji, Neem Karoli baba him self who asked Ram Dass for the 'medicine'. Ram Dass gave him one, he wanted more, gave him more (delicious how Ram Dass tells this himself) and ended up indeed giving him an amount which could kill a normal man of his - maharaji's - age. As Ram Dass tells the story, he says himself he thought it was going to kill him and was a bit comprehensive, yet, as a psychological proffesor's mind, very interested in what would happen. And then, nothing, nothing happend. And that was that. As the story goes (on) :) It is not that Sadghuru tells a completely different story, but he changed a lot of view points, which actually creates a completely different story. You see. I just love Ram Dass, he is my first guru, then Sadhguru and Mooji, but here it feels a bit as if Sadhguru turns him in to being someone who he was not. Yes it happens with me too. On my path to absorb spiritual knowledge, always either a recommendation or a new video of sadhguru come sup in my feed. Exactly about the topic that I am thinking of. I wondered for long, then thought it is just the youtube algorithm.. Rhrn saw a video of Sadhguru where he mentioned how he is a companion to people who are learning from him from a far distance. It resolved my questions about many things. 😊

Though with them coming into direct connection I can’t describe the feeling of synchronicity and realisation of certain aspects of my minds judgments falling away after seeing this. Ram Dass never thought of himself as 'hardcore' popping lsd. This whas simply his doorway in to, wanting to explore the realms of consciousness. Also, in his quest, going to India and meeting Maharaji, Ram Dass never 'wanted' to have Maharaji take the lsd, and by no means at all wanting him to have a severe re-action to it; it was Maharaji, Neem Karoli baba him self who asked Ram Dass for the 'medicine'. Ram Dass gave him one, he wanted more, gave him more (delicious how Ram Dass tells this himself) and ended up indeed giving him an amount which could kill a normal man of his - maharaji's - age. As Ram Dass tells the story, he says himself he thought it was going to kill him and was a bit comprehensive, yet, as a psychological proffesor's mind, very interested in what would happen. And then, nothing, nothing happend. And that was that. As the story goes (on) :)
It is not that Sadghuru tells a completely different story, but he changed a lot of view points, which actually creates a completely different story. You see. I just love Ram Dass, he is my first guru, then Sadhguru and Mooji, but here it feels a bit as if Sadhguru turns him in to being someone who he was not. Ram Dass was much, but not someone who thought he knew anything. He didn't, and that created Ram Dass in to the being he became :) You understand?
But, yeah, I love them both ❤️ And how ever the story is told, no one really cares, hehe 😁 But my somebodyness who still shares this love bond on an emotional plane with Ram Dass, does care 🫣

I have been very familiar with both Sadhguru,Neem Karoli Baba and Ram Dass for a number of years. Though with them coming into direct connection I can’t describe the feeling of synchronicity and realisation of certain aspects of my minds judgments falling away after seeing this. Sadhguru has always been difficult for me to listen to because of his harsh truths, but I can see the love behind it all a little clearer now. He doesn’t tell you what you want to hear but rather what is needed.
