One time i did pranayama by accident or before i knew what it was. A couple times as a kid i had experiences where i noticed peculiar feelings or sensations. Like once i got a drink of water after playing and the water made me feel a tingle like sensation all over or other times i would be running in gym and would feel weightless like i was running on air and when i breathed it would tingle. So as i got to be a young adult i had some strange and bad events happening and i started meditating but it wasnt something i ever really learned or looked up it just sort of came to me after i prayed. Well like i said after i meditated a lot i started doing pranayama naturally also even though i never heard of it and one day after i did it a lot something happened that i cant describe very well but it felt like what i imagine bliss or nirvana or something might be. It was like i had total mental peace quiet and clarity. But it only did it for about 5 seconds then it went away but after that i had a lot of fortunate things happen
I am grateful beyond anything, that I have found Sadhguru so I can learn as much as I can before passing. I know I’ll be back be cause I have not learned enough to not make some of the same ignorant mistakes. I hope I am reborn in India.

Hi, I am from Bengal, India. In reply of your question, I can say we celebrate feminine throughout the year. But specifically this time of year in bengal(in autumn and late autumn)we celebrate devi as MA Durga, Ma Laxmi, MA Kali and as MA Saraswati... MA Durga as Mahamaya (I can not translate mahamaya in English sorry), may be it can be described as someone who hide the whole universe with her illusion so we don't see the actual truth and we are able to live our life, the way we do(I mean, our familyand social life etc...). MA Laxmi as prosperity, MA Kali as slayer of demons, and MA saraswati as the godess of knowledge...Namaste. Moreover, a female child born in this time is good or bad...you see as guruji described it. It's not about gender its about quality...feminine quality. It's nothing to do with gender....! But I guess this time of the year surely...every child will get devi's blessing...pronam
Yes there are 2 Navratra (9 Nights of the Goddess) that are celebrated in a year. One falls in the Autumn is celebrated on a greater scale and the other one falls during the Spring which is also celebrated widely. The Spring Navratra is about to start within the next 4 days (23.03.2023).
