  • We walked through the entire Reading Terminal Market to help guide you ahead of your visit to this Philly institution. We fasted for 20 hours before heading here on the last day of our trip and wish we came even hungrier! There were definitely so much more that we wanted to try!
What we tried (sharing is key so you can try a lot):
    1. The original and cinnamon pretzels + pretzel dogs from Miller's Twist. Plus their lemonade. Don't miss this one! We definitely wished we brought some home!
    2. The spare ribs & baby back ribs + mac & cheese + potatoes from Glick's Rib Shack. Delicious! Spare ribs were a little better but both were good.
    3. For dessert, we were torn between Profi's Creperie and Bassett's ice cream. So we did both! Ordered a regular butter sugar crepe to share and we both got a cup each of vanilla ice cream for me and pistachio ice cream for Luis. Incredibly creamy and apparently the oldest ice creamery too! Love that historical bit. I will say that both were yummy but I'd get pistachio next time.
Lastly, we bought some cookies from The Famous 4th Street Cookie Company. The white chocolate chip with macadamia cookies were yum!
We can't wait to go back! There's some other places that we didn't get to try so next time we'll go on our first day and not on our last day! Hope this guides you as you make your list and decide what to eat!

Philly is always a great idea. For a 2 hour ride from NY it has a lot to offer.
