You know I've seen this episode several times, but I just realized the portal they build for the president is basically just a nether portal and it's activated with a lighter. 😂
Same! I never caught that until now, and I am kicking myself for it. LOL
Yeah that's the joke lmao, the whole episode is full of Minecraft jokes
I realized this last night lol
I've always noticed the lighter but couldn't find a "Sci-Fi" reasoning behind it
Obviously, I play way too much Minecraft as I noticed it the first time
Rick covered the top of his glass with his hand
Thank you
THANK YOU
Tv sins smh they gotta do better stop going for a joke
It's the little things that make this show life
@@cookingwitchefzayy8830 if they do that way everyone would take it seriously tho
I think it was established in another episode that Rick has some sort of device that causes spilled drinks to un-spill.
That was a spit-take, not a spill... but if you notice he just covers the drink with his hand when he jumps into the portal!
@@ku8721 was about to say the same thing
@@ku8721 when space Beth comes home he has a beam to return his alcohol
@@kittybossatron Yes but as I said that was a spit-take not a spill
what? like his hand that they literally showed him covering his drink with?
“Then come to 312 Olive Street!”
“Is that her address?”
“You don’t know because you’re a bad son!”
You know the guy is heartless when he doesn’t remove a sin for that
Current season somewhat gives a reason for Fly-Fishing Rick: it’s heavily implied if it weren’t for Rick Prime, Rick C-137 would have been much closer to Simple Rick and have a fulfilling life with his family.
He is tapping into that potential in a less direct way than extracting the simple joy in a factory and using the extract to flavour cookies.
Also you can infer that only two ricks ever made a portal gun, prime Rick motivated by narcissism and power, and our Rick (blue plants Rick) who made it in name of revenge, that’s why we’re only ever seen three portal guns, the one used to kill Beth and her mom, the one blue pants Rick used and the one we all know that’s why every rick grabbed portal fluid from the citadel, why they were killed so easily, and why they needed our rick to make the citadel. Rick prime never looked through the portal when he dropped that bomb and since it didn’t annihilate the house we can tell his target was blue pants rick not Beth and her mom, every rick there is with a portal gun was given the technology, or destroyed by prime rick in their garage.
This is one of my all-time favorite episodes, due in no small part to Keith David's performance as the president.
Same, "they said you didnt need a shirt because you have the need to.. Swing your dick around" LOL
Actually Rick does hold his hand over the Martini Glas when he jumped through so the drink wouldnt spill
I love how the law tv sins chooses to point to the Arizona donkey bathtub law for the one Rick and Morty could break.
I love that I'm not the only one that thought the sin removal was my favorite part of the episode. I keep picturing Captain Anderson saying this line to Commander Shepard.
My favorite line in the episode is "What was that?!" "Death." "What kind?" "Instant."
Loved the video but at the end when Rick said "I'm Doctor Who" you should've played the "I am The Doctor" Theme. Still amazing video.
I feel like the President *knew* that was the same old Rick but thought better than to issue any more challenges.
The portal kind of makes sense, less risk to transport equipment that lets POTUS stay working where he currently is right until it's go time
Rick just uses it at the end to flex
Yeah the real sin is that the President likely didn’t use the time saved by not flying with the team to do anything important to justify the cost of the portal.
He used it bc Morty stole his portal gun.
This is prolly one of my favorite episodes President Keith David is the best 😂
Pretty sure the president didn't fall for the flying fish Rick, he's just going with it
I think the President knew it was the same Rick but wanted a truce
Man, I was literally just watching this during the commercials of Stargate Atlantis, and then you use Stargate in the outtakes.
“High velocity lead poisoning” lmao
I am now going to steal the phrase “high velocity lead poisoning”
This episode first aired October 1st 2017, netherite was released in 2020, their inventory could have held no such netherite sword
Sin 4, we don’t need a sci-fi gadget to stop his drink from spilling. He just covered his martini as he was falling so It would not spill. I’m removing 1 sin. Total sins 30
But then he would get it all over his hand, so he would have a sticky hand and nobody wants that
Had to go back and check. Rick does put his other hand over the top of the glass as he jumps down the portal
OK, I'll give them the giant head episode (although how the moon didn't go careening through the solar system when the Earth was teleported and the resultant tides didn't completely resurface the planet is another story). But in what other times did Rick save the world? Canonically, he's destroyed it more often.
the moon can't change that much in location in just an afternoon
Well.... now that you showed the wormhole for Stargate SG-1 I want a complete run down of the entire series. All 214 episodes. Everything Wrong AND Everything Right.
It might be passable if you just do one video for each of the ten seasons, so Ten Everything rights and Ten Everything Wrongs. It's only 220 hours of content. You got this! I
This is probably the best rick and Morty 'sode so far.
I have never heard someone describe being shot as "high velocity lead poisoning" before
I appreciate the Colin Robinson quote in the audio outtakes.
Maybe you could do another Shadows episode?
Rick literally covers the top of the glass so it doesn't spill
0:48 he had his hand over the top
I am really happy how far rick and morty had been in the latest seoson
Same!!!
Current season looks like it has potential. Can't wait till February to start streaming it
We've already seen Evil Rick. Is Good Rick on the other side of the Central Finite Curve
Those out-rows were some of your absolute best!!
Also, STARGATE FTW, and how have we never had a Stargate one before 🤷🏼♂️
....It's "outro." As in: the opposite of "intro."
0:48 Straight up ignoring him putting his hand over the drink to stop it from spilling?
I'm pretty sure it's been pointed out, but the President was well aware that was the same Rick. He just wanted to bury the hatchet too, so to speak.
Is there any chance you could do Inside no. 9 season 3 episode 3 : The Riddle of the Sphinx
Thank you for the laugh i missed out on...REWIND & WATCH, Rick places his hand over the top of his martini glass... LMAOROTF
i forgot about the whole arizona donkey sleeping in a bathtub law
"No attempt at displaying technology that..let Rick drop..without spilling his drink", yes, because they clearly show him cover the glass with his hand as he drops and lands, so no tech needed and a big Ding! for CinemaSins for ironically not realising that the show made the effort to notice and avert a tiny nitpick with just a few frames of animation.
For sin number 4, he was holding his hand on the martini glass
The technology used to prevent Rick from spilling his drink is his hand! He covers the drink before jumping in the portal, and was still covering he when he reappeared.
Nah sin 3 doesn’t count, he literally has his hand over his glass on both sides of the portal. That man is very intentionally not letting his drink spill.
Sin 4 is unnecessary because Rick held his hand over the glass
I really hope they can catch up the videos to the episdoes before the end of the season
I mean they do have other shows to sin.
The Minecraft trauma was amazing
0:49 he held the liquid with this hand....
0:50 here I thought he was going to sin Rick switching hands mid-portal he was using to prevent said spillage.
5:08 This is funny to hear after the "Rick vs Doctor Who" Death Battle. 😂
It was rumored that the Twerkasaurus went extinct because it was unable to pull forward and park whilst questionably correctly wearing its footwear.
Or maybe it was the lack of torches
As far as the fly-fishing Rick goes, I'm pretty sure the president realizes he's just regular rick, but goes along with it as a pretense for not having to deal with being at war with Rick.
Please could you do Bojack Horseman as well?! Thanks.
Here are all the audio outtake clips at the end:
1 (7:12): Predator (20th Century Studios, 1987)
2 (7:20): Archer, "The Rock" (season 1, episode 8; FX, 4th March 2010)
3 (7:27): Lethal Weapon 2 (Warner Bros., 1989)
4 (7:33): It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, "That Gang Buys a Boat" (season 6, episode 3; FX, 30th September 2010)
5 (7:34): Stargate (Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, 1994)
6 (7:51): Volcano (20th Century Studios, 1997)
7 (7:57): What We Do in the Shadows, "Colin's Promotion" (season 2, episode 5; FX, 6th May 2020)
If you look closely when he goes to drop in the portal he puts his hand over the glass to stop it spilling and takes it off in the next clip when he arrives
This is for some reason my favourite episode. There's just something about it
Please do Everything Wrong With Chucky "Death by Misadventure"
Can we give an give an applause for the well conceived and executed Minecraft sin? 👏
Just have to get them to finish sinning season 4 now
removing a sin for keith david made my day
Welllll not to nitpick but at 00:47 u can see Rick covering the glass from jump until he lands 🤷🏾♂
Oof, I related too much to that Minecraft tangent.
0:50 ...his hand was on top of the glass as he jumped through. Your sin is a lie!
The portal thing makes sense tho, it safer to transport a portal and have it destroyed than have the president get killed
Rick puts his hand over the glass
Ok STOP Doing this ‐ Rick and Morty is perfect.I love your videos but I feel attacked.🤣🤣
Keith David is perfect as the President. "You're a terrorist! An enemy of the state! And you kicked me in the balls 10 minutes ago!"
Perfection
0:16 I feel like I should know what that pause was for but I dont
What wanted you to think it was about the janitor but they actually meant the portrait of Abraham Lincoln (the joke being that D.D. Lewis portrayed him in one movie)
Fun fact the Mr poopy buthole snippets and the clay thing at the end are actually meta views at how the authors are doing and if you watch them all you will notice how his life has been going through some ups and downs
That version of the President died horribly when Mister Frundles assimilated the world. So he was right to consider Rick an enemy.
i know y'all have to reach in order to fill the sin quota sometimes, but Rick LITERALLY covers his martini glass with his hand in the scene you sinned it for.
3:07 ... that's the joke
0:29 Something else that doesn't appear in the establishing shot: the doorbell.
I would like to point in this episode when Beth called rick and asked if she was a clone morty was in the same setting as rick but then morty ask rick did you tell my mother she was a clone so morty should have heard the conversation between rick and Beth
I wanna know something is the rick in s4 an alternate rick from a different timeline come to take the place of the previous rick that left in s3 it's very confusing the time travel switching shit it just bothers me if I dont know
Does anyone know the music playing in 3:48 ?
6:51 swearing in front of your kid at dinner. *ding*
I Love Rick and Morty tvsins 👍🏿
Sin for the grammatically incorrect sentencing at the end of the video
He covers the glass with his hand (insert mean remark here)
Wasn’t ricks hand over the martini glass when he was landing?
The laser is in the cable.. kinda like fiber optics I guess
Sin #10
... well, no LEGAL consequences anyway.
am i the only one that thinks that the president portal kinda make sense. since his time is very valuble and there for would not have to sit idle in a plan or whatever while traveling.
Sin 4 he actually held the top of the glass so it didn’t spill
2:16 What? You can clearly see fires in the background.
Those are arrows on fire most likely based off their small size, or items on fire.
Oof that last one should've been worth 5
Just remember nothing is illegal the first time.
Just because it isn't on the books doesn't mean it's not illegal. E.g., "stealthing" or removing protection during passionate-hugging was recently codified in law as a form of sexual assault, but people had previously been convicted for it via "rape by deception".
You can try anything once. That doesn't mean it isn't illegal.
@@corrupt1user Wow that's fucking horrifying, but also you proved my point. We can go all the way back to what was on the books or what just not being an asshole is. I prefer the latter.
@@bubba200874426 But it can't be illegal until someone has tried it. that's the point.
Did you guys know there is now a LASER HOOKAH?!?!?!!!??
Please do Everything Wrong With Alias, “Truth Be Told.”
He covers the martini with his hand that's why it didn't spill
This universe’s president is pretty much dead forever in the current canon
1:07 ha!
So the biggest sin is how we don't have a Mortycraft episode or game.
Didnt he cover his drink with his free hand.
@5:50 not Jeremy had a sweaty make out with BM. I’m not sorry for this joke
Season3?
“We have not yet established complex enough texhnology to prevent ricks drink from spilling!”
Rick: literally just puts his hand on top of the glass
"High-Velocity lead poisoning"
2:20 how is gravel floating
No, we believe we have the right for everyone else to be at risk of high-velocity lead poisoning. It's a VERY important difference.
But he covered his drink so that it wouldn't spill when he fell
Your wrong for the sin with the glass because he puts his hand over it
