I just picked up a CLA 45 this past weekend. Drove over to Atlanta to get it. It's a 2014 but only had 52k miles, 2 owners and no accidents. Was able to get it for a hair over 22 grand. So freaking happy with it so far, tons of fun and surprisingly good gas mileage on my commute.
im looking into buying on in the next couple of months, did you buy it from a dealer or private seller? and if you did buy from one or the other, how was the experience?

My experience was pretty good honestly, they let me take it on a nice test drive, they were able to use my pre approved financing from car gurus, so I got the rate I was looking for. I'd just make sure you get a carfax and read through it, make sure the service records are good and no accidents have been reported.

Love my '18. Almost 40k on the odometer and it's been reliable so far. I always have a great time behind the wheel, especially when a Hemi or Mustang tries to pull up. They all learn the hard way.
One of the best bang-for-the-buck performance mods for this (or any) car is lighter wheels. Those stock AMG wheels are pretty heavy. I dropped around 6 lbs of rotating mass off each corner of my '18 GLA45 by replacing the stock 20" AMG wheels with a set of Neuspeed RSe102s. I can feel a slight increase in acceleration and it feels a bit more agile in the corners.
I owned the first facelift package they offered for the 2017 CLA 45 amg. I put on 110k miles, drive it through the rain, snowstorms and even off roading without a single engine or any minor problem. This car is extremely reliable and a fun daily driver to own!
yes ! this car is very solid and holds up good just basic of maintenance should be good . i know of some cases where people say this car is fully unreliable and gives so many problems. they said probably with the motor especially but i seems there’s either had bad work done to it overtime or overtime not good maintenance. it also does depend on what weather and state and how u drive the car . overall best car no issues and best sounding 4cyl and fastest production 4cyl until 2023 c63 with hybrid 4cyl
@@jlucentt couldn’t agree with you more! Had it regularly serviced at our local Mercedes Benz dealer and never had an issue. With an AMG it’s best to let the pros handle the work 👍
my friend has a 13’ cls 550 it’s nothing but issues . either cls 63 or cls 45 but no matter what cls is way more expensive and harder to maintain. cla is a full drivers focused car . i would totally get a cla 45 2018 they are steals right now with low miles and if you don’t mind a 4cyl that’s fast then it’s for sure worth it ! hope that helps . lmk with any other questions
the optioned turbine wheels are such a nice element to the design and adds lots of character. it’s the most noticeable thing on the road especially with the nice benz logo in the center
do you have cla 45 ? the eco is always on when the car first starts and the mode select by the shifter is what changes it to sport and all that good stuff , there’s also eco button on the radio section that turns off auto shut off at lights if you click it
Bro CLA 45 AMG 16/17 4wheeldrive C117 model. But dont have any button on the dashpanel that says Eco or the radio section. Only button is (A) auto start and stop. Maybe in the settings somewhere ? What symbol or logo is it ?
Bro I’m getting a cla 45 next week and it has a stock exhaust. Is yours stock? As you can get the performance exhaust option. If it is stock did you delete the front resonator or middle one ? Car looks insane
that’s so sick .. i hope you enjoy it . it’s so worth it . my personal 45 is all factory besides the air intake and res delete (the middle one) and it does have performance exhaust option which does help .. ask what options the car ur looking at is equipped with . you don’t necessarily need performance exhaust because modding it will help out a lot .. and thanks i mostly went for cosmetics for the meantime and will soon work on more things for it
i feel like it’s the best budget sports car, crazy interior and crazy rims with big calipers and painted red , sporty look and is amg . also one of the cheapest amgs money can buy especially for 2014 2015 year . this car has no issues most of the time even past 100k miles but it’s about 20-30k and it’s still a good chunk of money

Depends on your driving record and gender (Im a Male). I'll tell you that I've been driving since I was 16 (I'm almost 22 now) and I've never gotten any ticket or any accidents, completely clean record, and my insurance for a 2016 CLA 45 would be between 170-190 for full coverage. Hope this helps!
I'm a 25 year old male with one speeding ticket in the last 3 years and no accidents. My insurance ran me 1,200 for 6 months with a 2014 CLA 45. Not too bad really, used to pay 140 for my Mazda 3.
what mileage? and also check the previous services and check the engine and stuff to make sure everything works good . i had to spend a few extra thousand as soon as i got mine in order to fix some issues

I sold my 15’ cla45 and bought 22’ cla45s. I can say the old cla45 is reliable, good exhaust note, and by far no issues as i kept it stock.

yeah the car is light , nimble and fast , feels awesome with the all wheel drive and the 4cyl definitely pushes
