Many thanks Jen. As a Mac and FCPX user, you are absolutely my favourite guide here on RUclips!

This is perfecting timing for a new custom chatbot that I developed to explain how to use it for any interested user. I have used Camtasia before for my Windows machine for screen capture, but I am interested in alternatives for my Mac Pro. Thanks for doing this video.

Hi Jenn! Thank you so much for an amazing video. I've some questions. I also make tutorials and but I ended up with camtasia instead of screenflow (but I think they are very similar). I'm curios on what exact footage you import from screenflow to FCPX? If it's just the screencapture itself how come you just didin't screenrecord with like quicktime? I'm trying to se how my workflow can be better. I have camtasia like I said and I use FCPX and premiere depending on the mood. So far I have experimented with doing some editing in camtasia right away but also in FDPX on another episode. I'm like you... I love to use the more advanced editing softwares, even if camtasia is great for tutorials... but I'm not sure what the best workflow is. If I should just export the video from camtasia and do all the edits in FDPX. I usually have a camera. And if you do. Are you adding that in FDPX or in screenflow?
Sorry for the longest comment ever, but would appreciate your input and what you believe is the best workflow for tutorials when working in several editing softwares. Thank you so much and keep up the great job!🤩
