Focus on raising your own vibration, be a good person, stop being afraid and angry and accept that we are all one and live a life of love and forgiveness... then you can eventually escape the wheel of karma and won't have to come back again and can choose to go somewhere better.

Too funny that you just posted this. It’s as if you literally plucked all my thoughts from yesterday right out of my head and stuck them into this video. 😂 Amazing. And about halfway through, it reminded me of something Mr. Rogers used to say. Something his mother told him. “When things seem scary, look for the helpers. There are always people willing to help.” In my travels I have seen that good people far outnumber the bad. And you are so right - history really helps put everything into perspective.

Great video, Tim. Reminds me of Billy Joel's lyrics, "We didn't start the fire. It was always burning since the world's been turning." I was in a bad mood tonight and your video gave me great perspective and turned my mood around. Peace!

We humans are on a perpetual loop. There are a fixed amounts of personality types and human desires/goals. 80% of the population are sheep/order-followers. A small portion consist out of people who are observers/truth seekers, and the remainder is high achieving, amoral types; the ones who want to control everything and everybody. So we are destined to repeat the same mistakes just in different settings using different methods. Sounds a lot like WestWorld to me.
If we are destined to repeat the same mistakes. There is nothing we can ever do to prevent history from repeating. Its seems its in our DNA. Making this existence nothing more than a never-ending soap drama. The only way out towards true freedom and peace is death.

My personal belief is that humans just haven't shaken that animalistic programming that enabled us to survive before evolution. It is still inside us and we have the choice to deal with it. Take 2 guys on a night out in a drunken brawl for instance. When I used to go out drinking and see something like that it always reminded me of animals in the wild fighting each other. There is just so much similarity to the animal kingdom and human behaviour it's crazy.
Unfortunately our environment in that we grow up in shapes us and for some it can be so chaotic. So chaotic that it strips them of what it means to be human. This I believe is what turns people into monsters, a history of childhood abuse which leaves them only knowing how to survive in their animalistic being. All the pain and suffering in the world strives from that survival mechanism in us. It's really sad but I don't think we will ever escape it. We just gotta all stick together and help each other rather than kill each other. Thank you Tim for all your wonderful videos. You are part of the light and hope of this world!

My 6th Great Grandfather on my Dads side, named Hendrick Pannebecker was recruited by William Penn to be his land surveyor shortly after Penn was given a land grant by the King of England to start the colony of Pennsylvania in 1683. Penn recruited my Grandfather in the Rhineland region of Germany to migrate from Flomborn, Germany to Germantown, Pennsylvania in 1686 to help found the colony of Pennsylvania as his land surveyor. He was one of the original Quakers to settle Pennsylvania. Germantown, Pennsylvania (present day Philadelphia) was the original birthplace of the antislavery movement. The first antislavery literature in American history was a 2-page document denouncing slavery that was drafted by Quakers from Germantown, Pennsylvania. Slavery was later officially banned within the Quaker society in 1780, 4 years after 1776. Germantown also held a key battle led by George Washington in the revolutionary war, and was the location of the first bank in the United States. His later progeny John Pannebecker (my 5th Great Grandfather) had a brother named Peter Pannebecker who housed George Washington at the family estate from September 26th to October 8th, 1777 as he prepared his battle plans for the Battle of Germantown during the revolutionary war, and also served as the hospital for the wounded throughout the battle of Germantown. The estate is still there to this day, and is a historical landmark in North Philadelphia called Pennypacker Mills. The battle of Germantown was lost by Washington, but this was one of the critical turning points of the Revolutionary war. The battle of Germantown (along with the battle of Saratoga) was the battle that inspired the French Court enough to finally throw their support behind George Washington and the Continental Army, which would be absolutely necessary in the defeat of King George and the British. I am very proud of my family’s heritage in knowing that they fought for freedom and also were among the first ranks to call for the abolishment of slavery. I am fully committed to doing whatever I can to fight off this tyranny we are now facing. I believe we can and will beat these people. Thanks for sharing this video…

Many times I didn’t eat much and would have to ask my dad for $100 for food. I remember saving up $100 and putting it into a savings account and it was a huge deal. Yeah it’s tough today, it was tough then, and I wish that everyone today can find their way somehow. Wishing the best for everyone, find joy wherever you can and let’s just be kind to one another.

I have been focused just with family members for all of my life, the rest of the world really has not been negative to the point of bothering me. My family taught me everything I need to know ever since I was a little girl. I am 66 years and 19 days as of my comments. Reading the Bible on my very own let me know how things have been since the beginning of Adam and Eve. If I had not read the Bible on my own, no telling how I would be with myself and others. The King James Bible let me know about morality and how to live my life doing whatever it takes to take care of myself keeping it seriously simple aka KISS. As far as media, science, etc., it changes stories, reports, etc.. I remember in elementary, junior and senior high school many subjects that made me choose which were important for present and future. I did not put emphasis on being competitive because I was born into a family that was considered to be the smartest in every school. While I did not care about that mentality, my concern was to be a person loving and doing my part of responsibility. My experiences allowed me to stay out of trouble, have great health even through these days and times at my age. Singing and instrumental music keeps peace within myself. Humming allows me to tune out negativity. Letting others worry me, ain’t gonna happen. How do I know? My three children did not do it. None of the employers did not do. Schools and universities and colleges and trade schools did not do it. My co-workers did not do it. My neighbors did not do it. I did not make myself and nothing else. I thank God for who and what he is. I thank God for everyone and everything he’s created and made. When I am dead and gone, I can face God knowing I did my best in the good and so-called bad times. Overall, life is colorful. I get happy and sad. At the end of the day, I appreciate getting God’s love, guidance, strength, words. I enjoy being with my grandchildren, watching them do their thing, growing and maturing. I have been married for 39 years as of December 31, 2022. My husband is in a nursing home. He has been my role model for wanting to get up everyday with the mental and physical abilities I am given. Thanks for reading my comments. Smiles

Ecclesiastes is the best book by far, in my opinion. Particularly Chapter 9. There is nothing new under the sun. Go, eat your food with gladness, and drink your wine with a joyful heart. Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, for in the Land of the Dead, there is no toil or labor. Everything else is vanity, and a chasing after the wind.

Thank you😊 for your insights on how I can live a more balanced life with less dread😟 over local, national and international conditions. Yes, I need to help where I can but there are times I have sunk into depression ☹over world conditions. Appreciate you👏🏾🤗

Thanks Tim. Always appreciate your insight. I had a friend once who was terminally ill I went to visit him one day we got to talking about life and he recounted a lot of the bad things he’d seen in War and in his life but then he immediately followed with But I’ve also seen a lot of good. That always stuck with me and I think about it when I start to get cynical.

I agree with your outlook overall. I get some peace understanding that this isn’t necessarily human nature. The nature of civilization, maybe. But civilization is only a blip in the overall timeline of our evolution. It’s a cultural structure, and cultures can change.
Any statements we make about human nature are filtered through this culture’s perspectives, language, tools, history, etc., so must be taken with a grain of salt. We just can’t know.
The above changes nothing about the guideline of: do any good things you can to help others and let go of trying to control the outcome. Appreciate you Tim.

Appreciate your good health while you have it. It can change in the blink of an eye. I should have taken my own advice, but I got off track by taking it for granted. I’m currently correcting that mistake. We are all in this together with a finite amount of time, so let’s make an effort each day to make things more pleasant for each other. I’m working on that too. Peace ☮️

I've adopted a mixture of stoic and absurdist philosophies to mentally and emotionally deal with the crap show we are currently going though. However, knowledge of the fact that history goes in cycles is of little comfort to those whose lives are ruined or eliminated during the low points.
