  • Just a video to let anyone know who wanted a bottom plate that fits the models in my Dactyl Manuform Build video that I made a quick and dirty bottom plate if you wanted it.

    want one of these, but considering you can by the printer for what ohkeycaps wants (not saying it's unfair, but hey), I think I'd rather learn to print. seems like a good skill to adopt.

      I bought a printer like 6 years ago and it was one of the best investments/tool purchases I've ever made.

      @@constamentaldrift7016 thinking I want a prusa, but also thinking I should just go straight to resin so I don't get an itch for a second printer later

      They are pretty different tools when you get down to it. If you are printing miniatures, hands down go resin, assuming you have ventilation and post processing supplies/tools handled. But I almost always recommend going FDM for your first printer. And in terms of what to get, an Ender 3 v2 is pretty cheap, maybe not as nice as a prusa, but you can get two for the price of a single I3 MK III, and I get better results on my 6 year old stock CR10 than the print farm of I3 MK3's at work.
