The fall out happen over "Deportee" according to an interview Sly did. Wayne & Sly thought Buju should have given then a cut out of the sales from Deportee because they are the ones that wrote it. They didn't get it & from there things start go down hill
My only “grievance” with Buju is him removing ‘Boom Bye Bye’ from RUclips and ALL music streaming platforms. He’s removed it from the album that he dropped back in the day too. That really upset me. Luckily I have old dancehall cassette tapes with the song on there.
Crazy that he was pressured to remove that song, but when black artists call black women disgusting names or when black men talk about killing each other, its promoted.

Nobody will ever know the impact prison has played on Buju. I’m sure it has changed him mentally. The truth is good to be told but I’m my opinion conversations like these should be kept offline and in person if that person is a true friend.

Indeed he really has only had one classic album Til Shiloh (arguably Voice of Ja is a classic) and then a few good ones if being honest. Let's not talk about Unchained Spirit that album is laughable at best. Too Bad was definitely good but by the time it came out it was just him going with what was popular other than that just mediocre. Hasn't had anything special since his release from jail. I think that cocaine got to his brain.

Life is a balance and we carry both good and bad traits but it’s what we lean towards mostly that determines our outcome.
