I am from Nigeria 🇳🇬 and making a special appeal to the Honourable Babsy Grange Jamaica Minister for Culture. Wayne Wonder deserves a national award for his contribution to the music. Thanks. And Early B deserve a posthumous award.
This is the Wayne who should have received National Honors last year. I hope this year the powers that be will recognize him for his outstanding contribution to Jamaican music.
Wayne Wonder are true legend. He made so many beautiful songs with Beresford Hammond and Buju, all hits. He's such a humble and kindhearted man. A great interview with one of Jamaica's most talented artist. Wayne Wonder, me love you and may Jah bless you with lots of continued success 🙏 ❤!
I can never forget Mr Wayne Wonders performance when he came to the UK. Thank you for the years of greatness, you truly are a legendary gift to us. 👑🙌🏾
Very good interview! Wayne Wonder doesn't get the recognition he deserves, but he's made so many hits and great music throughout his career. Nuff respect to the legend!
I’ve seen Wayne in multiple interviews and I must say this is the very BEST to date!’ WELL DONE singer and host! Besides Wayne’s musical genius, his humility is a distinct standout amongst his characteristic traits. It’s obvious he’s grounded in good values, and he recognizes that they keep him anchored. So very proud of you for being a positive example for so many. Bless🇯🇲🙏🏼
Wayne Wonder you are definately one of Jamaica's Reggae icon .....under-appreciated and and not justifiable recognized as such from a National perspective.....not too late thou. Maximum respect to one of Jamaica's most talented reggae icon.
Waynie Wonder. What an intelligent and articulate individual. Its no wonder his songs are all hits. You definitely have the "it" factor and it constantly flows out of your pores. You have been blessed.
Wayne Wonder is one of the best singers ever come out of Jamaica. But this man is so real and open. "There is no dance only hall" in the new music. Love this youth.i agree there are a lot of educated lyricist but the beat naw make you move.
This singer has just earn a lot more respect for me since revealing that most of those bangers he's done are original. Only other singer to do this is my number one singer Beres Hammond. WW is second to Beres in my book.
Solid interview. Happy to hear Wayne Wonder's story in his words. One of the unsung architects of Dancehall. By the way, I was today's year old when I learned that that song was to the melody of "Lean on Me"🤷🏿♀️.
Big up fellas. Love to see Jamaican artists represent with passion and humility - this is the basis for global appeal. Big up Wayne Wonder and hats off to DJ Kash. I wish you both continued success.
Very humble and reserved artist knowing just when to get go and let his audience know how the music flows, Wayne only show off and shares his music with the world, amazing interview, mi like it!
The best interview I have watched in a long time. Wayne Wonder is on point with his history and opinions. He has an outstanding understanding of the music business. He is a quality legend unlike others that we hype and rever. Continue to shine bright 🌞 🔥 🔥!!
No lie, as a musician, song writer and piano player this interview was one of the best i heard, especially the break down from beginning moving forward. 🔥
This man Wayne wonder is the best musician I came across in the 90s I use to listen to his music back from school on radio each time with the radio show reggae drive time.96,97 and 98.
Late 80s and 90s singers Pinchers, Wayne wonder, singing melody, Sanchez, thriller U, Tony Curtis, Ghost, little kirk, Anthony Malvo, Lukie D, Collin Roach, just to name a few.
I just want to say that I met Wayne Wonder in person when I was 17 years old in Rochester , NY at an airport(2007) . He’s such a sweet person. I remember telling him that he was my favorite artist. He was so humble (unlike shaggy 🙄 who was also there )and I wish I would have talked with him more. May God continue to bless Wayne Wonder❤️. I won’t ever forget that day meeting him and how sweet he was.
He's such a blessed soul. Nothing can stop him. One thing i also learned is how keeps his songs real (coming from real inspirations) that is so biblical

His contribution to the music of that era is really endless. Damn good interview. Big up yuhself Wayne Wonder.
Wayne Wonder can sit down on any late 80s to 90s riddim. Everytime Reggae Gold and Strickly the Best came out, you can expect wayne to be on there. Frisco Kid was another artiste that can ride any riddim too. We need back these riddims. Where are all the producers that are still alive to ressurect good old dancehall. The only time I would ever go to a dance right now if it is an old school dance. I see General Degree just release 90s Swing Riddim and Bounty Killa ride out that riddim.
Beautiful interview Wayne Wonder! Thank you for mentioning my brother "Sebastian " I know you both were great friends. I miss him so much he was my only brother 😥.
Wayne Wonder is a national treasure and should be treated as such. I’ve always had the highest respect for his penmanship and how he makes others around him great. He could sing the phone book and stylistically it would be a hit. Long life and nuff blessings to multitalented force of nature👊🏿
Wayne needs to a summer writing session in JA offered to these upcoming artists. I would love to see Tessanne and Wayne do a song. It might sound unusual to many but I think a song with him and Tessanne could the "it" song out of JA to make many new artists rethink.
