Far too many Christians see giving up the world as a death sentence instead of liberty. The Bible says the way of transgressor is hard…now that’s hard. Yield to sanctification and allow the Spirit to lead your life and divorce yourself from carnality and being a friend of the world. You will find how easy living a life in Christ truly is

This is my first time listening to Larry and my last. LeAndria sings gospel. It doesn't mean she is a Christian. Her conversation doesn't support Christianity.

I absolutely LOOOVE Le’Andria Johnson! Been loving her since Sunday’s Best, after her performance of “Endow Me,” I’ve been addicted EVERY SINCE! One thing that has ALWAYS intrigued me about her is that sometimes in interviews she’s never been the best speaker or conveyor of what she’s trying to say, but when she SINGS it’s like she’s giving a CLEAR/ CONCISE monologue of what she’s trying to say, and it comes out EFFORTLESSLY.
One thing I hope she can do one day is open up about the SPECIFIC pains that she carries. She always talks about going to the pain in order to sing the way she does, but WHAT are those pains! I think if the audience knew more about the pains that causes her to sing the way she does and also that caused her to drink the way she did, I think it would cause people to understand her even more and add more context to why she is the way she is as a person. I would ESPECIALLY like to know the way she was raised religiously with her parents, that now causes her to buck against the religious system of today the way she does, with the fact of knowing that this religious system is flawed and doesn’t work.
Yes! I agree with all of this. I love her too, so much. I feel alot of people can relate to the pain(ful) place she sings from. That's why it resonates so well. I agree, with her conveying her message better in song than orally. Perhaps one day she'll be ready to speak about that pain and the religous upbringing. I feel she hasn't come all the way through it and may not be ready to talk details about it. She'll get there one day- maybe in a book, documentary, movie or play. Until then, I'm grateful for all the raw emotions that she does expose in order to minister through music the way she does. Love you Le! 💓

I absolutely LOVE this lady and her realness!!! I totally understand who she is and why she is so infectious. It's the oil. The oil doesn't matter or change who it's assigned to. She is just a trendsetter that isn't afraid to say she is gifted but also human. So just BECAUSE I'm gifted doesn't make me have less human experiences. She is relatable to me cause we all love God and still cuss a little bit. That's the human part. ❤️

I feel that sometimes she talks as if she enjoys staying bound and it appears that she's not ready to be completely free yet! Alcoholism, drugs, and whatever else is no challenge for God! Whether it came through generationally or not! I pray for her complete and total deliverance and healing! 🙏🏾

There is so much I can say about this interview with the incomparable, venerable, the 100% real Le'Andria Delores Johnson. First, Larry’s assessment that she is currently one of the greatest vocalists today is spot on. (Rachelle Ferrell would be another I’d put in her realm for her superior vocal ability AND musicianship on the piano) Secondly if you’ve ever been in and around gospel artist they are EXACTLY as she has portrayed many of them. (and they mad at her for uncovering their duplicity) Lastly, with Le’Andria you know exactly what you’re going to get. A real person who loves God with every fiber of her being with flaws that she shows and a heart and desire to be and do better. Simply put, I love this woman, point blank, PERIOD!!!

@@djbowus Well I’ve accepted Jesus as my personal savior and as the scripture says we all sin and fall short of the glory of God BUT that does not justify a reason for us to continue in sin...1 Peter 2:9 says we are a chosen generation a HOLY Nation, a peculiar people that you should show forth praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. I’m not perfect at all but I die daily and hope people see the Jesus in me... I will NOT emphasize and glorify sin and make it appear okay... This interview failed her 😪 unfortunately. But... she's not the only gospel singer with secrets, she's just one of them that don't mind sharing her truth. Fame does NOT exempt you from the tricks of the devil. All we can do is PRAY ... 🙏🏾
This is just so sad. The compromise is so evident. This is so far from God’s true standard of Holiness!! Just because material things are being obtained does NOT mean that God is pleased. The word of God, His standard or requirements for us (Christians) His children never has, or will change!!!
I agree and then she gets upset when someone calls her out and comment on it. She accuses them of being judgmental. She might can scream, holler, and squawk, which some black people like, however, it just means she can sing. She represents what most people think about black church people and gospel singers: fake and phony. People saying she’s real, yeah real foolish. She never said she’s proud of the things she’s doing. She is telling the truth about her life and being honest. Of course she still has some work to do, but she is not going to change overnight. She still has some trauma she needs to deal with. I really appreciate her for being transparent. God is still working on her. I can see the progress. She’s not all the way there yet, but she has gotten better.

God NEVER looks for perfection. He NEVER chooses because of perfection. No one comes into the world Holy. We don’t become Holy by our own hand just like we’re not righteous by our own will, it is GOD who stamps His seal of approval on us for reasons that are far beyond our understanding and only HE knows in depth.
To say the least, those who HE has chosen, He foreordained and predestined BEFORE we were formed in our mothers wound. All we as people need to recognize and honor is THE GOD in her. Everyone is human and we’re subject to humanity and the things and struggles of this world. Let no human being fool you into believing we are perfect in any way shape or form, we just become disciplined and controlled as we submit to God especially as we mature from one season to the next based off of our decisions..

As you said ITS NOT FOR YOU to judge her salvation, yet you literally are. That’s oxymoronic and your perspective is the reason why a lot of people turn from God or NEVER come to God. Sometimes it’s best to just Be quiet. Instead of you running your mouth concerning her salvation, why didn’t you take what you may have heard that may have touched your heart to God on her behalf. When we pray for others God will do it for us and by all means don’t tell me that your 💩 doesn’t stink, because it does.
As a reminder, though we are saved by God, that same God called us ALL filthy rags. What separates us is our heart and posture and at the very least our EFFORT. She owns her truth, that’s why REAL deliverance will come. Remember, it’s a battle and some thorns God leaves on our side because it leaves us at His feet.

I set here and watched this interview and I agree with a lot that was said. I have watched Larry and Le’Andra make these excuses for played-out and foul living. Living holy is a choice you have to choose. You don’t have to sing the gospel or declare the gospel of Jesus Christ. If you want to live raggedy, just live that. So, I don’t get it. As I watch Larry there is a real demonic force that has him. He gets off on the downfall of the kingdom and encourages people of faith to live a life contrary to the way God tells us. I pray for his true deliverance. Even his laugh is demonic. This was opened up from hurt by people he trusted in the church and he believes he lives a better life now due to gifts from the enemy. The devil has him fooled and wrapped in this.

I do agree w/ Larry that we shouldn't "throw LeAndria away". She mounted a public platform at a young age (25 or 26?). So, I hope her inner circle helps her 2 reach a higher level of consciousness & she submits 2 a ministry of inner healing & deliverance.
"Keeping It Real" could very well keep doors FROM opening. The profanity may be acceptable on Larry Reid's platform but others may not embrace that part of her as an artist & young woman. 🤷🏽♀️
