Very good video. The other day I was at two different shops and there were rows of engines lined up. They were there because they were replacements for boats with cracked blocks from lack of proper winterization. Apparently a lot of these owners didn’t realize that owning a boat means more than just buying the boat. We call them “PPP Loan” boaters who didn’t fully understand the rules of boating, like “no wake zones,” and general boating etiquette like not cranking your music up at night in the marina, but also how to maintain their boats. Boat prices are already dropping in my area but I bet there are going to be a lot of “cracked block” specials this and the coming year.
wow cap what brand was those engines ? and thanks for you area feedback and yes we see those prices coming down more soon cap. thanks for your comment cap.
@@OutOnTheReef The basic engines in my area are Mercruisers in 350 and 454 sizes. Some people run the 4.3 V6 but the those two are the main engines. They're relatively cheap - you can pick one up for about $3000, cash and carry. The sad thing is they're actually pretty easy or cheap to winterize - less than $100 if you have someone do it, but if you don't know about boat maintenance, you don't know the issues until it's too late.
Totally agree. I run a storage lot for boats and RVs, and during the pandemic when people were getting all those checks we couldn't have been more full. Now we're still full, but we're having a ton of turnover which is incredibly unusual. Like you say, there's a good part of it that's maintenance and even just the monthly payments for something they never use.
I agree with you captain it was all an impulse during the pandemic and you're in the pandemic and now All this posts may come back to the market as good use boats And thank you for your awesome comment captain
So true Capt! My husband & I have been avid boaters for over 30 years & have never seen anything like this, I too tend to agree that crazy fuel prices & less enthusiastic boater like us will sell sooner rather than later. We decided to jump up to a 30CC & have been waiting since last September ("expected" delivery in June). On flip side, we sold our 27CC for way more than we purchased 10 years earlier. Cheers! ⚓🏴☠
Wow congratulations on your sale of your old boat And congratulations also on your new purchase and hopefully you'll get it by June or July when the delivery date is scheduled and enjoyed you have worked hard you and your husband And when you get it please let me know I would love to hear the great result of your boat delivery👍⚓️
Good information capt. I think anyone wanting to go up to a bigger boat or just to change boats out should sell there boat now and put the money aside. I agree with you one day soon the market will be flooded with newer used boats that will be a good deal. I had someone from Maine wanting to fly down and purchase my boat when I was thinking of selling it last year to move up to a bigger one. I decided not to sell it because it might be a year or two till I could get another one and I don't want to be without a boat that long.
Good decision captain and remember a bigger boat takes motext morpheux and Morton from your truck that's something else we have to keep in mind when we buy a bigger boat thanks for watching and having us some night captain
Totally correct. My local dealers have over priced used boats just sitting now. Not long ago they were sold right away. The weekend warriors who over paid will realize they don't use their boats and sell. They probably will owe more on their loans than they can sell for.
I agree David now there in a big hole trying to dig themselves out over paid for a boat that they're gonna have to come out of their pocket money to get rid of the boat so they'll be paying new money to take over their account And that's why I made this video I want my viewers to get the best price for their boat and not to get ripped off that makes me happy thanks for watching captain
Hi Capt. I do agree to some extend. Used boats are starting to become available and prices are coming down very fast. I have been in the market to acquire a used one since 2021. I was able to find my dream boat. A 2005 Hydra Sport 230 WA with a Yamaha 225 for $25,000 including trailer. Mint condition. But in regards of the new ones, base on history, their inflated price wont drop more than 15%. Prices have sky rocket for more than 35%. Do the research. What will happen is that new boats will stay high because manufactures got use to all that profit. The bank will extend loan periods to cover that increase. Remember the years when for a car you had a 4 year loan? Only a few had to get a 5 year loan? Then 6 years became the norm. Now you see that they are offering 84 and 96 month loans. The same thing will happen with the new boats. So yes, for those of you that want a boat, wait for the used market. Don't have high hopes on the new ones.
Great information company and it's very true What you're saying thanks so much for taking your time and sharing it with us captain enjoy your new boat thanks for watching
If people stop buying new boats and the used and “almost new” market is flooded, new boats will also go down, incentives, rebates etc. It already happened in 2008 2010… it’s the law of demand and supply and no one is immune, if they don’t sell the boats at a price that the market dictates, they’ll go out of business
@@KeyLargoDude Thanks Scott and yes If we all stick our ground they have to drop the prices but if we buy a sticker price or more the price will always be high
Good advice Captain! I was looking at boats earlier today before I watched this. Two boats I would be interested in are actually project boats but priced as if they were kept under cover out of the water and washed down after every trip. ALL the electronics were stripped off one and the other never had anything decent to begin with. I'll wait.
George if you wait 6 months to a year you gonna get some awesome deals captain especially now especially now that people are going through some tough situations and The economic is going down So I hope you get an awesome deal soon captain whoever waits and have patience gets the better deal👍
Thank you so much captain for giving me the awesome feedback about the few prices I haven't been back in months 6.85 It's a high price especially here ethanol is only $5 I guess we're gonna have to ration our fuel when we get to be me and not spend too much fuel so we don't have to pay the high prices thanks for the awesome feedback and hopefully I'll see you on the water captain navigate safe
Thanks for sharing this information. I have been looking to purchase a boat for awhile now but knowing that market at some point will be flooded with used boats my options will be less limited. Don’t mind waiting a little longer. Thank you!
100 💯 accurate!!! I have 5 boats parked next to mine and only 1 boat moved in the past 6 months. I try to take my boat out once a week. Over 200 hours on the engine in one year of being a boating. My dealership offered to buy my boat at top dollar.
Yes you're right captain the dealers think they're smart they want to buy your boat to resell it and make profit off of it but that greed is gonna get them into trouble in the near future you'll see, And I'm glad you use your boat more than others because a lot of people don't And see you out there on the water captain be safe and thank you for being awesome viewer of my channel👍⚓️
Great video, Captain. I've been boating since I was 5 years old and I am 58 now. I've been working on boats since 1990 part time in maintenance(my primary field is aviation maintenance) and have owned 5 boats since 1999. You make perfect sense.
@@OutOnTheReef Oh, yes. This year is my 40th year in aviation. 16 years working on helicopters in the past so I had to sometimes I had to "duck" away from the big rotor-head "prop" on top.
Wise words captain, but the wisest word you said was Passionate! If you are passionate you will do whatever it takes. I had to wait a year for a motor to repower but I worked on my boat doing things I wouldn't normally have time for. If you love boats working on them can be fun too (just not for too long!)
Yes captain I agree passionate is the right word for all of us that really love boating, And I've been voting for at least 28 to 30 years And thank you for watching my video and also for commenting on it recommending on it have an awesome week captain
Yesterday my friend sell their boat because of no income since pandemic until now but it’s not easy to convert commercial boat in to private boat alot cost need to plundered on it.many people now who want to buy a boat they want the boat ready for the real purpose.alot of buyers right now need the boat for fishing trip and the island cruise.however I’ll keep my boat and keep my upgrading in the boat.good advice cap.stay safe captain
It could be sooner cap. The boat ,rv and car market are going down fast ,those who wait will get better prices, i hope the best for your boat shopping cap👍🛥⚓️
Very good and wise information Captain. I am down on the Texas coast and can tell you that I would not want to be in the market to buy a boat right now! Selling is a different story but boats are incredibly priced high right now. I sold two boats right before the COVID mess. Those boats are worth now at least 40 percent more than I sold them. Wish I had a crystal ball at the time! :) I still have a 22 footer that I keep stored and polished as I know they are like gold now!
Still waiting for the drop. Here in West central Florida it’s absolutely insane right now. New boat prices are still high and with low inventory. Used boat prices are just stupid and EVERYTHING is selling. New/used are selling for only a few thousand less than brand new. I’ve seen multiple boats 10-20yrs old selling for DOUBLE their value. It’s very frustrating.
I agree with everything you say capitan the only thing is that they have been saying the price will be going down since last year and they have only Raised! Its easy to say hey wait 3 years when you already have a boat. But when the recession starts the first thing that gets sold are the boats.
think about it if they star cutting hrs at work ,fuel ,and food prices goes up boating is a luxury , even me if i have to sell my boat to support my family trust me cap the boat is gone i agree with you cap.
I said in the video if you can afford this high prices i told my viewers go ahead and purchase but i made this video for people that is hard to purchase a boat so they dont get ripped off like all this dealership are doing this days, but im not telling people not to buy because i have a boat cap. The point is if you are in a budget is better to weigh for those great deals, your boat and mine will go down in value at least 25 to 30 % Especially mine that is Crooked 😉😁👍
@@OutOnTheReef yep right now everything is high, for the first time In My life I just paid msrp for my wife’s new car myself as hard as I negotiated, Things are crazy right now but people need to remember this is a luxury it’s one of the most expensive lifestyles you can get into next to flying, from the maintenance to the cost of fuel and also limited time available to use. If you own a decent boat it’s because your are somewhat well off nowadays. I’m not arguing with you at all but I just can’t seem to fathom ever being without a boat let alone waiting 2-3 years and also nobody will Be buying boats during the recession anyways. What I’m pretty much saying is people need to keep in mind that this is a luxury toy and one of the hottest one on the market in the last 3 years with no sign of letting up!
I think there was a little bit increased not that much but what time they might be running out soon because a lot of these parts are coming from China and you know China has to lock down so it may go up in the future more
What the Black Pearl is, is not just a boat. What the Black Pearl is, is freedom! Passion for boating. That is why I have a 1995 Project boat, affordability.
That is crazy George another viewer of mine just mentioned that he uses both for 7 years and sold it for the same price just like you captain is incredible thanks for sharing
I don't disagree Cap, but IMO, another big reason for a near future flood of boat/rv inventories are our brilliant leadership's economic and energy policies. No better incentives to get rid of your boat/rv than when fuel prices have tripled since buying your boat/rv and, your job may disappear.
You got that right captain This fuel prices heights is going to ruin the economy as you see in other country is doing the same thing very sad thanks for sharing Is captain in navigation
So True: I bought my Sportsman 231 Platinum in late 2020 for $60K... Took it to a local Sportsman Dealer 2 years later and he offered me $65K after I added another 125 hours on the motor. Crazy market out there. NOW... Deals 2 years from now on Boats and RV's... There will be a glut of used stuff out there.
Yes I agree captain with this inflation and recession The prices and availability on use boats cars and RV will be Very lowAnd that's when we can take advantage And buy a used boat
Well said captain, do you think u ll ever sell your boat? If so , do u mind telling us an approx. how much u have into it? Maybe a whole new video on the crooked boat AS IS will be awesome. Have a great week captain.
If I had to sell it now for some reason the asking price will be a 160 K Wishes well over price but I have put in over $20000 in equipment into the boat oh and a lot of hours of work and labor And thank you for watching captain and being part of the channel navigate safe and have an awesome weekend
Me and you are the same Key Largo dude, We love our boats so we keep them But for new voters We need to help them not to overpay and drive this market down thanks for watching captain
Spot on Cap. Its crazy right now. Im looking to get back into boating. I am gonna buy used but even the used prices are insane. So i am gonna wait it out. Cars are not only sticker now but they are all charging 2-4k over sticker for what they call "fair market adjustment. More like unfair market adjustment. Im waiting on both until the mafness stops. I enjoyed your video fishing in the gulf by the way.
I think the same way you think Fred we should not support this company's with this high prices if we all stick through and wait And don't support this madness they have to come down in prices trust me they will And thanks for being an awesome viewer of my channel captain ,hope the best
Thanks for the information. My wife and I want to buy a boat and have been shopping around. I’m going to hold off for another few months to see what happens with the market.
Awesome decision Gilberto To my experience it only gets better from now on it's not gonna get worse for both cells it's gonna get better especially the use market because because the recession is gonna bring economic down so it's the best time to buy a used boat captain hang in there and you'll see if you do succeed please let me know navigate save my friend
You're right and we can see this happening already however top tier boats, rare boats will always keep their value, not that many Regulators or Contenders etc coming out those molds. Another fact to support your theory is I don't know how long people will accept that in order to get the boat out using a ramp you have to get there by 6.30AM at the latest or cancel boating for the day. Miami boat ramps are closed by 8.30AM on week ends because the trailer parkings are already full by that time. That is at 7.00AM you are already in a long queue to put get your boat wet. it doesn't bother me because I am always out very early but sure there are those sundays when the family make a late decision to go on the boat well forget it, if daddy didn't go out fishing that morning it's too late now. So Maintenance coming up on those 2 years old boats, fuel cost, limited access, people going back to their jobs, previous hobbies, lack of time, yes many boats will hit the market soon but for those thought after brands or model they are too rare and demand remains high. Thanks for your videos, NB: going myself to Tortuga in august with a 24 CC Mckee Craft with twins for a 3 night over with my son while my wife and girls will visit for 1 night using the ferry. Thinking of places to store extra ice haha, haven't decided yet to set up tent or sleep on deck, will be a great memory. Been to tortuga before and yes the fishing in 85 feet deep is in another world, it's like what you heard your grand pa talking about, not technique, no fancy rigging, just get it down to the bottom and get hit immediately. I am just afraid if everyone now goes there fishing there's gonna be little chances those fish will one day cross over to the continent. So once a year is enough for me. Part of fishing is also searching for the fish before catching it. I was raised by the sea in a family of seafarer going back god knows how many generations, was a seafarer myself, always had a boat and now close to 60 still passionate about it, couldn't imagine my life without a boat...He! space for the boat is criteria # 1 when choosing new house haha...So long Captain and again, thanks for amazing job and eye opening with your videos.
Very true information Denis and yes the miami boat ramp situation is bad i know, and yes this bkat market will change like the housing market will, and you will have a awesome trip to the tortugas you and your family, and no worries not a lot of people will make that trip and overfish the tortugas because is far , no refueling, no hotels, and very costly, like in my case thi entire trip cost me closely to $1000. I dont think many people will do this do to the high fuel prices cap. And thanks for being a awesome viewer of my channel cap 👍
The wave of "sell sell sell" is coming. Maybe not as fast as people expect now but its coming. RVs, boats, motorcycles, jet skis, vehicles considered as extra. Stuff not necessary when belt tightening comes around during economic decline.
Once people realize how most dealers and Manufacturers don’t stand behind there product. And have to start paying to have their boat serviced. There will be lots of new boats up for sale. The easiest part is buying a boat. I have an old saying (go ahead buy a boat) Stay safe out there capt
That is a good point captain if a boat has a problem from the manufacturer that's from the manufacturer that's really gonna bring some issues thanks for your awesome comment and for watching captain navigate safe👍⚓️
I just bought a pallet of deer protein and we paid $675 For a pallet of protein Because protein is going up because the price of soy beans is going up And dear corn is $10 a bag now so if you want to buy deer protein or deer corn for hunting season I would get it wile you can
Very true Shawn that is very great information And yes especially that grain is going up because of the war in Ukraine new Crane very good captain appreciate the heads up
Capt - A lot of truth in what you are saying. I was in my local Bass Pro yesterday and they didn't have a single boat on the outside of their facility where normally they would have 30-40 boats for sale. They did have on the inside of the store a few bass boats and a pontoon boat for sale but that was about it.
I have seen that in a lot of dealers they're running out of stock and also down the car market is doing the same thing same thing and the recent the RV Dealers have a lot of arby's it's because they have nowhere to use them Because my dad has one and he can hardly get reservations and any of the Oceanside Oceanside RV parks
I’m glad I watch your videos and you help me decide what to get. I’m also one of the people that got mine right before the crazy happened. Feels like a blessing to have a boat right now. Safe travels cap. 🙂⚓️
Awesome captain I'm glad My videos guide you on the right path thank you for being awesome viewer of the channel captain and enjoy your awesome None crooked pilot house lol
Hey Capt - agreed, the prices will fall drastically in the coming year for sure. One, because there were a ton of folks who bought boats during COVID as a place to escape, which killed the used boat inventory and drove up prices. I had people offer ridiculous prices for our 30yr old Bertram (probably should have jumped on it when it was hot). My brother in law paid a stupid stupid stupid amount for a 42 Riviera, about 3 months ago. I told him to hold off for a while, but the inventory in CA was sparse, at best. He paid another arm and leg to get it shipped from FL to CA. As someone said below, now with fuel prices through the roof, COVID restrictions over, a lot of folks are going to be dumping their boats, which will drive the market down. Another thing to consider, with the end of the COVID relief $$$ and govt handouts, people are going to lose their boats as well!
very true roger i agree 100 % with you and that is bad for your brother boat purchased but as long as he is happy . thanks for sharing your experience cap. and see you on the water cap.
Last year I bought a used 2015 suzuki 200 with 100 hrs and double axle venture trailer...and it came with a 96 wellcraft v21. 😂 I'm new new...great boat for learning on. Can't tell if those scuffs were there or new! 😂 great video Cap'n 🤙
I think the next big thing is the repayment of the 2nd largest loans. That’s student debt. The government has been paying those loan interest. So that is coming to an end in June. Starting July 1billion is going away from Americans spending budget.
@@OutOnTheReef the boat prices are higher than in the USA, and actually it is imposible to find some specific and well known boats, too expensive, no opportunities. But the same situation is for other items as houses or cars. For a new bmw or mercedes you must wait for 1 year, so the used ones are increasing the value ant finally the markets must adjusted, but know the prices are crazy!!
@@pablosebastian7718 I agree it's all demand and supply and this is the worst time to buy something it's better like you said wait one year and you'll get better prices and more options if I was about to buy a car or a boat now I will wait at least a year and you'll see how things will be easier for all of us Especially that we're going into a recession all over the world
remind me of Miami Boat show..still expensive to be use in Indonesia..we here have agent of Viking, Boston whaler , Sea ray .etc..most we got from singapore .but like mine here we buy Indonesia made Fibergllass boar capt...nice info..
Good morning and very true captain it's better to buy boats made in your country because it's easier to find parts instead of foreign boats. I have another day captain
New boat prices never go down. You’ve been reading too much THT. But you can dream on. Good luck waiting. Gas prices will go down. Home prices will go down. Boats? Nah! Cars? Mah
Just think of all the fuel used in just "ONE" day in this country from boats running around the waterways and oceans and lakes in this country and the fuel used to power the big "NON gas mileage vehicles to pull them to launch. Not to mention people driving big vehicles when a small gas saver may be more appropriate due to high fuel prices. I have one of those scenarios with a pick up truck and a bass boat and they are parked now. More power to the people that keep on fishing and buying fuel for recreational things, it's their choice and I get it, but that's just my decision.
I agree with you a 100% captain is better just to wait around and not spend a lot of money in my case I have a RUclips channel that I have to run But I understand your position it is a very expensive hobby these days
Great idea captain you will save a lot of money just by waiting and letting this hide the man go down and it shouldn't take that long I don't think 2 years you will have to wait for that thanks for watching and being a possibility or my channel captain
This is the reason I have not sold my boat.I know I could get more than what I paid for it but,it would be far less than what I would need to replace it with an upgrade. I’ll wait.
Prices might come down a little but not a lot, certainly not 30%. Wait another 6 mos - 1 year and you might get a little better price but the interest rate will kill you. Unless you have $75k cash to drop.

I’m gonna wait it out, Captain, and may just do without, but I’m not paying a ridiculous price. I want to find that owner you referred to, who used it a half dozen times, ate some depreciation, and now wants to move on. If you’re that seller, I’m your buyer.
Hi again Captain. Good video!! It is 100% spot on. As I told you in past posts, I had purchased a new 26' center console and there wasn't any wiggle room for haggling. I paid what was posted price. I ordered the boat in the beginning of January and it is just starting to be built next week. I also ordered it with electronic motors (2 150's) and they couldn't supply them for a long time. My dealer had them rough in mechanical controls and the boat will be shipped to them with no motors. He has 2 in stock so he will supply them. Otherwise I could be waiting a year +. The cost to run this boat will be very high but my true passion is boating and fishing. On the other hand I sold my other boat that I had for 7 seasons for the same price I purchased it for. Its crazy out there right now but it can't last for ever. Expect a message or 2 in a few weeks on install questions on the radar. Keep up the great videos and ill be in touch when the boat arrives.

@@OutOnTheReef my larger of the two boats I own has a 40 gallon fuel tank. Even if boats themselves become affordable again fuel needs to as well. It's ridiculous to think of having to spend $160-200 for a tank of fuel for a 20' boat in my opinion.
Boat prices are high? They have been high for a very long time. Go get a boat between 5-8 years old and save yourself tens of thousands of dollars. They're like an RV, never buy new if you don't have too. Nice vid. Oh, and if you voted stupid, try not to do it again, look at the current results.
I bought an FSH 210 Sport and love it. I use it almost every weekend. I got lucky with storage in Clearwater for $85 a month. I can also perform minor fixes as I’m somewhat mechanically inclined. Covid boaters: If you know zero about mechanics and want it stored at a marina, I’d advise to not buy a boat, lol. $600-$800 a month just for storage is nuts! Then you have $300-$500 per engine for service. People don’t think about upkeep or storage when purchasing a boat.
Very true Joseph and I am glad you are mechanically handy because most of the baoters are not And congratulations on your awesome boat captain I love the 210
@@OutOnTheReef yes Cap! I had a fixer upper Rinker I/O as my first true boat. Learned a lot of things just in two years with it. People just don’t understand how much of a time investment a boat really is. Washing and flushing after every use, oil changes, anodes, wear and tear. It’s all expensive if you don’t attempt the east stuff on your own. I had the first three serviced prepaid for, so I lucked out and won’t need to pay for the first year, but it’s $800 at the dealer for a 10 hour and 50 hour service. You can always see who the Covid boaters are at the ramp too…the ones that can’t back in, launch, dock or know the etiquette of the water. Keep giving us those Bahamas 🇧🇸 videos Cap! Who has to buy a boat when we have your channel to watch, Capt.? You do all the work while we sit back, relax in AC with a cervesa or 2 and enjoy your escapades on the high seas - sometimes with your lovely esposa! 😉👍
Boat prices, housing prices etc. It is all euphoria at this point in time. Boat manf. have increased prices not because of the cost to build, but rather the demand. They recognize people are willing to stand in line for a year, even if the price of the boat they thought they bought for less increases by delivery. A 28' boat goes for 300k+ now, some are still yes. However that is insane. The country needs a recession to bring things back to earth..
@@josephmoran2006 Its actually not due to that completely. Its a supply/demand issue. Which caused manf and suppliers to raise prices. The money printed under Trump and Biden didn't help either, Obama for that matter as well.
You are right. Boats prices are gonna plunge now is the perfect time to sell but not buy. I wouldn’t hesitate to say a 50 percent drop in used boats over the next 3 years. Because there over 50 percent higher for a used boat now than it was 5 years ago. A $4000 runabout 5 years ago is 9 to 10 now because there’s not enough new boats being manufactured so it drove up the price on used boats. And most I call em Covid boaters realized boating isn’t for them when they get out of there Car or truck and get on a 27 foot cruiser in 15 mph winds trying to dock or load back on a trailer CoPart auctions is loaded with new wrecked or boats that have sank.
Very true captain I agree with you a 100% great information to know and yes prices have been so high that when this market comes down we may see 50% discounts on this used boats and The new boats Dealers would have to give incentives for you to buy them
Very good video.

Hi captain,
I just came back from Bimini yesterday and fuel price was 6.85 a gallon next to big game. Still can’t wait to go back! Stay safe buddy.
Between the fuel prices and recession there will be a lot of good deals.
I agree100 %cap. Patience is key👍
Thanks for sharing this information. I have been looking to purchase a boat for awhile now but knowing that market at some point will be flooded with used boats my options will be less limited. Don’t mind waiting a little longer. Thank you!
Anytime captain and I hope you get the best boat for your money🛥👍👍

There you go Rick I agree with you that way you enjoy your boat better than before and you enjoy it more by making it comfortable good choice captain
I know cap. If we only knew the boat market right, and yes kipp your 22 feet boat in great condition is money in the bank, navigate safe cap. 👍
Thank you Cap. Was wondering about these prices and your video was good timing for us.
Glad it was helpful! Rob and hopefully you can get your dream boat in the near future for a great price cap.
Well my frind just bought a boat in Miami at a great price ,private seller, dont go to dealers because their prices are still high cap.
The point is if you are in a budget is better to weigh for those great deals, your boat and mine will go down in value at least 25 to 30 %
Especially mine that is Crooked 😉😁👍
I don't disagree Cap, but IMO, another big reason for a near future flood of boat/rv inventories are our brilliant leadership's economic and energy policies. No better incentives to get rid of your boat/rv than when fuel prices have tripled since buying your boat/rv and, your job may disappear.

@@OutOnTheReef Thanks! Capt.

26'-28' foot boat is average 100k+. Scored a deal on a used boat in 2018. Still have it and everybody compliments it! Til the prices go down, we have something to work with to go offshore for now!
Congratulations captain you purchased your boat just like me right before the pandemic and we save a lot of money when the market goes down if you choose to change boats it will be a lot cheaper thanks for your awesome feedback captain
I am new to your channel, love it. But I have a question perhaps you or someone can answered. Why is your face covered?
Welcome to my channel Samir and The reason I wear a mask is to keep my private life private life private captain that's all and again thanks for for watching my channel👍👨✈️⚓️
7 months later and still not happening. Maybe by middle of this year?
yes cap i see the downfall very soon
100% Correct! The only thing I would add to that is if you are purchasing a used boat and it is a large sum of money, You might want to consider A survey, Like a home inspection, Some insurance company's require it and it's money well spent.! Thanks for sharing that great info! ......... Oh, and if you even think of selling your boat, I will come down there and kick your crooked butt! LOL! 🤣 😎👍⚓
lol 😁Captain Rick no worries im not planning to sell it, and yes you are right a survey will be a great idea cap, thanks for you comment cap , you are a special viewer 👍😉⚓
Nice vlog I needed this I want a 190fsh but now I’m a wait thanks Captain for the info it was very helpful. Your friend from the Bronx the big 🍎 take care . SHAZZAM
Shazzam and yes His captain weighed a little bit you don't lose nothing The prices have to come down as market Geis market gets worse this days
It is crazy man. Our 2001 Parker 2520 was $55k brand new in the boat show with a single 200 outboard. That same boat today new starts at 150k. Everything is thru the roof
Very true manufacturers are taking advantage of the demand but soon they're gonna see the effects of this demand
Prices are already going down with the price of fuel. Prices are all over the map. We’re already in a transition time .
Very true captain the few prices is really rallying The price is down
Got lucky bought my new Key West 1 month before the pandemic hit 😳
Yes you did captain you really Dodge a bullet But sadly a lot of people didn't but me and you were lucky this time lol👍⚓️
I’m done with gas
I’m getting a sailboat 😂
awesome since fuel prices are Hight cap.
Can I buy yours when and if you decide to sell?
Thanks cap. If I decide to sell it I will let you guys know here in the channel so you guys have 1st
Thanks for asking cap.
I’m gonna wait it out, Captain, and may just do without, but I’m not paying a ridiculous price. I want to find that owner you referred to, who used it a half dozen times, ate some depreciation, and now wants to move on. If you’re that seller, I’m your buyer.
lol great choice , i will let you know if my boat goes on the market, but i have a feeling that prices will come down very soon hang in there cap.
....great advice, keep safe, skipper..
Thank you captain I hope it helped some of my viewers make a decision thanks for watching
Awesome captain I'm very excited for you to get your boat soon and and and you can enjoy it and yes whenever you Have any questions about your install of the radar please let me know and hope the boat delivery goes wrong the boat delivery goes very smooth and let me know when you get a captain thanks for watching👍⚓️
I think prices on RVs and boats won’t come down until 2024,2025
I think sooner then you think cap. Look how everything is going down ,Target almost 40%down in stock and Wal-Mart down too from pandemic overstocking ,same think will happen soon to boating and Rving cap
Excellent video information , Im Outboard tech An I Approve this message , Nos vemos En El Agua Capitan
lol Cap. thanks for the support , i si nos vemos en el aqua Capitan👍⚓😁
@@OutOnTheReef espero algun dia vernos en el area de fort DeSoto para salir a pescar, o nite camping yo tambien tengo mi canal en youtube y me gustaria compartir imagenes de tu bote y el mio , be safe on the water 👌👌👌👌
Spot on with this Captain.. prices are out of control right.. I’ve been waiting for a sailboat but the prices are way out of line..
I agree in your case it's good to wait a little bit and you'll see prices coming down soon because the high demand will Go down very soon captain the best for your new purchase captain
I think we're going to see an overwhelming number of boats in auctions in the future due to people defaulting on their loans.
I agree captain is just a matter of time I think less than a year we're gonna see that flow
And that's including cars and RV
@@OutOnTheReef my larger of the two boats I own has a 40 gallon fuel tank. Even if boats themselves become affordable again fuel needs to as well. It's ridiculous to think of having to spend $160-200 for a tank of fuel for a 20' boat in my opinion.
@@primate2744 very true cap e feel your pain ,my boat is 90 gallons and is like takind a second mortgage on my home to fill up😬🥴🛥
Boat prices are high? They have been high for a very long time. Go get a boat between 5-8 years old and save yourself tens of thousands of dollars. They're like an RV, never buy new if you don't have too. Nice vid. Oh, and if you voted stupid, try not to do it again, look at the current results.
lol cap thanks for watching👍⚓👨✈️
I bought an FSH 210 Sport and love it. I use it almost every weekend. I got lucky with storage in Clearwater for $85 a month. I can also perform minor fixes as I’m somewhat mechanically inclined. Covid boaters: If you know zero about mechanics and want it stored at a marina, I’d advise to not buy a boat, lol. $600-$800 a month just for storage is nuts! Then you have $300-$500 per engine for service. People don’t think about upkeep or storage when purchasing a boat.
Very true Joseph and I am glad you are mechanically handy because most of the baoters are not
And congratulations on your awesome boat captain I love the 210
@@OutOnTheReef yes Cap! Been following since the early FSH days.🤙🏻🤙🏻
People need to stop moving to FL 🤣
Lol Matt you're right we have a lot of people moving down to Florida because are beautiful weather
Why do you have your mask on lol your the only one in your boat 😂😅

@@OutOnTheReef thanks captain!
I agree with you a 100% that is the only way things will get back to normal captain thank you so much for your awesome information
That’s what happens when the Fed kept printing money. Inflation is through the roof.
@@josephmoran2006 Very true captain I agree
@@josephmoran2006 Its actually not due to that completely. Its a supply/demand issue. Which caused manf and suppliers to raise prices. The money printed under Trump and Biden didn't help either, Obama for that matter as well.
Do u really cover your face in all your videos ?
Hello cap. And yes all 600 videos ,i know it looks crazy but is all to keep my private life private cap
@OutOnTheReef Would you recommend the Parker boats over the Defiance boats?
@@andrewwolford3220 never seen a Defiance boat in person or test drive one cap so i cant compared them
👀🇵🇷✌
