As a Saffa, all I can say is Kiwi rugby has such depth and such an expansive style of play that come the World Cup they’re already in semi-finals and it hasn’t even begun yet.
I wish that were true. But it really does depend on our team and who we are versing at the time now. France Ireland South Africa nz even Australia is doing well
The problem is they don't know who their best team is. They have quality, but since 2017 they haven't settled on their best combos which is why they have struggled. If they were to meet the Boks, France, Ireland or England in a quarter final they would be in danger of losing
Love this program. Thank goodness for this. You guys and girls are all awesome.
Is the Irish lad Oli Jaggar crusaders far from NZ cap??
as an englishman its good going in knowing we'll win, having watched squidge rugby's video im certain
55 seconds in and I see Muliaina's absurd "form team" has one Crusader - you must be joking, he's become as predictable and one-eyed as Kirwan. Pathetic.
Crusaders back 3.Reece/Jordan/Faianganuku
Tupaea/Reiko midfield although RTS is starting to look sharp.
Fakatava/Barrett 9/10
Degroot/Blues front row.
Vaai/Dickson also Whitelock/Barrett is great. Locks are the hardest position.
Blackadder/Papallii/Pita Gus( although Sotutu is stsrting to hit form)
That would be my form team.
There's several that could have argued being in form like Nankervill, Clarke, Telia, Mounga and a few others. But I think that's pretty close to the form 15.
Richie isn't that young, he's not the future, players like Perofeta and Ruben Love are.
if he's remain consistent or even better, definitely to start at rwc 27.
but please not in rwc 23, we have barrett, who clearly step up in big game.
Yes I totally agree, Perofeta is a particularly good player isnt he. BB at 10 with Perofeta at 15 is a really, really nice combination. I have noticed it for the Blues this season, those 2 really operate well together and are definitely not one dimensional those two.
Agree with Perofeta, but I think Burke and Gilbert will be in good form too.
Unless Ruben Love can get game time, Morgan looks like he's earnt the starting 10 position for Canes, while Moorby looks like a future AB at 15.
BB is the inform half during the regular season. But that could change as we go through the finals. Letsgoooo Crusaders!!!
BB just comes and plays. Perofeta has to kick his goals, pack his lunch and tuck him in at night.
Thomas umaga Jenson is the 12 we looking for. That man can do it all. I believe he's in his prime time so surely he gets a call up? Much better than the one dimensional/ overhyped j.barrett.
Would like to see TUJ @12 and RTS @13 to see how it goes!
@@izzzybriggzy7754 why not? Rts a beast. I still want to see him in open space, to see him work his magical footwork
@@floziq8117 you guys are clueless, reiko is the best player in the world rn (before injury) has to start at 13
@@brodiewells9079 saying people are clueless then saying ioane is the best player in the world 🤦🏽🤣🤣🤣 your cooked
@@solekefs626 on form you wetter, who’s better?
What's the earliest Scotty Robertson takes over as AB Coach?
Ild say bro, nz rugby is delusional having fozzy
Scott shouldv been coach ages ago, AB's should take some notes from leinster vs la rochelle, Irish breakdown and scrums..backline looked vulnerable haha
He's not interested at this point in time.
When I watched the Crusaders v. Drua game a couple of weeks ago, and saw the lines those Crusaders players were running, those Crusaders players are just too damn well coached. They're the most well gelled team in club WR atm. Scotty is gonna get the job somewhere down the line, I'm sure of it.
Hes England's next coach mate
Why are the videos blurry when they show Super rugby games??
i assume rugbypass doesnt have the rights to show the footage of sky's coverage on this platform for the games

Congratulations to the Crusaders even though you only had 1 player in Mils' form team of the year.
Eklund was missing tonight 😆😆😆
No one in New Zealand can see it baffles me... The tight five are your problem, absolutely nothing else. Barring Dupont and Kolbe I'd take an All Black in pretty much every position other than in the tight five. The front rowers especially props are marginally International standard, but certainly not world class and with no depth. The French tight five are their foundation, same with Springboks, Ireland and any good side at the moment. NZ aren't winning up front and it's causing their absolute world class backline and even back rowers problems.
Bingo!! The depth in the loosies are great and the backline depth will always figure itself out
We don’t have world class props at the international level and I’m worried whitelock and rettalick are running on Father Time
But guys like Scott Barrett or tupou vai haven’t put their hand up to demand selection ahead of those two
As a Kiwi, I can tell you that we're well aware of the AB's decline but the reason is clear, most of us can see it but the boofheads that run NZ Rugby won't admit it - the reason we've lost ground is that Ian Foster is our coach. We have far better coaches than Foster but he was hired due to nepotism. Players go backwards in terms of form under this guy, his selections suck, and his tactics and strategies are stale, well-known, and easily countered.
Yip, our props are our biggest player issue, closely followed by our game tactics.
There's enough looseheads to chose from, Tui'nukuafe is a world class loose head scrummager whose leaving NZ end of year. Degroot/Hodgeman are good.
But in regards to tighthead, that's a major issue. Tu'ungafasi is one of our best but he can't hold up a scrum long enough, then the two actual strong scrummagers are Laulala and Franks. They're not the greatest around the field though.
If Foster forgets about Lomax and Taavao and focuses on Tu'ungafasi at tighthead and one other(maybe Jager or Williams) with Laulala as 3rd choice, then our scrums will improve alot.
Paripari Parkinson should have been introduced into the All Blacks environment last year, he's a big lock and once we lose Whitelock and Retallick we lose a lot of height combined with a bit of size. Lorde is tall but not as big, Scott Barrett is as big but not as tall, so that there will be a dilemma at some point unless Paripari Parkinson can return to form after his injury.
You guys never talk about the canes
cane can replacement for the no 7
100%. Pointless watching if you are a Hurricanes/Crusaders supporter
Because none of them are canes supporters
As long as Jackson Garden bachop is on the team they never will
Don't show the blurry clips if your tech team can't figure it out. Two weeks in a row?!?!?
I think it’s your internet connection mate! 😂😂😂
They can’t due to copy rights
The video footage belongs to SKY SPORT. I think Rugby Pass have to blur it if the want to put it on RUclips.

Blackadder & Reece for Frizell & Clarke, & I am a Blues fan.
Blackadder is one of the best loose lmao

My MVP is Dalton papalii
Mils team is actually not that bad, i always wanted to jordan at the back for the AB's, its time to rest those old over due locks 🤣

Crusaders are starting to hit their peek now. Everyone will again be in awe after the Crusaders lift the first Super Rugby Pacific title for the first time. Coming from a Drua Supporter.
The Blues are coming for that title
Im a Crusaders fan, they are still making a lot of mistakes. This weekend will tell where they are at. Blues in the
final for sure
Yeah anything can happen but the self belief in the Blues is substantial
finals footy is a whole new thing, if you havent experienced it before, will the blues continue their amazing season, or will finals footy be their undoing???this is where the Crusaders i believe will step up being finals hardened,,whatever happens Rangi Mcdonald and the Blues deserve to be top dog.,My heart says the Blues, but the Crusaders will be there in the final with the blues..what a final that will be!!
@@tinaiwatene7363 very good point... but I also think this is where guus Barrett and Romano can have an influence in favour of the Blues. Nice added experience there... helps the newbies

If they looked back to what they said after watching Men (Crusaders) teach Boys (Blues) how to stop showing off and step up the game when it mostly needed
Why is the game footage blurred?
Streakers
Just wait and see who win the competition and pick from there. The team win, get the most player. Look to the future and pick the young player like the blues have. They're hot at the moment. Pick one or two players from other team . Blues get the most if they go all the way.
surprised this show is still running! lol
would be interesting to hear you pick best kiwis out of NZ into a team! even if former allblacks!
Mills Onda money about jordy
Mils, what have you been drinking......you are the boy from Invercargill...... what has happened to you mate. Get back home down South before you go completely bonkers! Love from the Ginger from Oamaru! I'm shocked Mils!
What does it matter when the ABs will be playing the same game plan.
J.Barret always should have been 12
Crusaders winger MUST be there. Wtf.
Romano has been huuuuge for the blues
He's exactly what the ABs need
Form teams are a waste of time . Look to pick a team that Foster& co will select given what happened last year and what is needed for the next 2 years.
You kiwis are being selfish, having the best 2 tens in the world atm, share one with us in SA, we need it!
Swap you for your 2nd string tight 5.
that does not look like an all blacks side the quality has dropped in
what a joke 😆 🤣
"Why aren't we talking about Richie Mounga anymore?"
"Or the Crusaders."
Probably because they are objectively weaker and less dominant this season than they've been in quite some time. I thought that was fairly obvious.
Lol
@@Both-Barracuda So they won the final. Good on 'em. Just the fact that the final was an away game for the Crusaders tells you something was different this season. They didn't dominate the season like they usually do. Plus they lost at home to the Blues for the first time in many years.
Richie is the best
Ha ha
Uh need to sort out the game video.
France to Win! :)
Backline will Jordan fullback clark and Fainga'anuku on wings Thomas umaga-jensen and 13 Rieko at 12 and Stephan at 10 and you gotta have Aaron Smith and fakatava as the main two halfbacks then forwards: Mikaele-Tu'u at 8 tom Christie at 7 frizell at 6 Whitelock at 5 retallick at 4 Jermaine Ainsley at 3 Samisoni Taukei'aho at 2 and Ethan de groot at 1

Mils has a lisp…? Seriously, that’s what make him a bad pundit?
clown
People still care about rugby? Compare the last 5 decades of NZ rugby. Which one is by far the worst? World rugby? Lol
And yet your here commenting on a rugby related video.
People who make these comments are attention seekers
Great question but a tough one!
1) The 1970s was not a successful period for NZ rugby after been the best team in the world in the 60s under Whinerary and Lochore!
a) The Welsh team in the 70s was by far the best team with the likes of Dawes, John, JPR, Edwards, Davies, Bennett, Ford, JJ Williams, Bevan, Price, Squire
b) we beat the Welsh in 1972 at their height,
c) then lost to England in NZ in 1973 after England had lost ALL of their 6 tour games against NZ provincial sides!
d) We lost to SA in a brutal 3-1 test series 1976
e) Lost to the Lions in 1971 1-3 for the first and only time then dubiously beat the Lions in 1977 using 3-man scrums vs 8 at Eden Park
f) won our first grand slam tour ever under Mourie in 78
g) Keith Murdoch incident in 1972!
That was NZ rugby in the 70s - inconsistent! We had the players but the coaches I think is questionable when the biggest problem for the ABs was finding a 1st-five and sticking with him! We went through so many 1st-5s during that decade was unbelievable. When we lost Karam to rugby league from there the ABs struggle to find a world class fullback!
2) 1986 - what a nightmare of a year!
a) We had basically the best team from 1980 - 85 due to possessing the best forward pack in the world - Ashworth, Dalton, Knight, Haden, Whetton, Shaw, Mexted and Mourie/Hobbs!
b) Come 1986 that forward pack was to old and decided to tour SA as the Cavaliers and lost 3-1. The Cavaliers had a 65% possession rate BUT NO backline to match Botha, Gerber, Du Plessis and Mordt!
c) At the same time the Baby Blacks beat France
d) We then lost the test series 1-2 against the Wallabies in NZ for the first time ever
e) We then got nailed by France in Nantes at the end of the year!
It was a nightmare because of the troubles that the Cavalier tour had caused but in saying that I believe 1986 nightmare gave us the AB team from 1987-1990 - probably the most dominant team in world rugby ever!
3) 1990 - 1994 was probably one of the most difficult periods to watch AB rugby starting off with:
a) the dropping of Buck Shelford which was crazy but the NZ public reaction was unbelievable!
b) the ABs losing their first game in July 1990 - vs Wallabies - since November 1986
c) losing to the Wallabies in the semis at the RWC 1991
d) to see Laurie Mains struggle to find a AB team for 3 years due to the crap that the 1990 AB team under Wylie had left the state of NZ rugby!
e) losing to the French 0-2 in NZ 1994!
This was one of the worst performance records of NZ rugby during this time!
4) 1998 - 2003 - three words - John F'KING Hart - and I'm an Aucklander!
a) Lost 5 test matches in a row in 1998 - worst performance ever!
b) Hart did not anticipate the loss of 6 major players in 1 year of 1998 - Fitzpatrick, Brown, Jones, Brooke, Little and Bunce
c) Hart destroyed this great team through selections and trying to play expansive rugby leaving our set pieces weak!
c) Lost to the Wallabies in the semis then the Springboks for 3rd place at 1999 RWC
d) We went from Hart as coach till 1999, Tony Gilbert/Peter Sloane from 2000- 2001 then John Mitchell from 2002-2003 - 3 sets of coaches in 5 years for the ABs!
e) In that period NZ won 5 out of the 6 super rugby titles between 1998-2003 but we failed to transpose this at AB level
We had a stack of talent yet it was one of NZ rugby's worst performances at international level! The arrogance of John Hart saw NZ exposed up front with our forwards through selections and game plan! The weakest period I have ever witnessed in terms of AB forward packs when we did possess the forwards to play the game! Having players like Taine Randall at 8 and Reuben Thorne at 6 gave us a weak forward pack and ZERO go forward with playing Blackadder out of position at lock - what a travesty! Playing Cullen at centre and Jeff Wilson at fullback - one of the weakest defenders in the AB jersey - at the RWC 1999 is the rugby brilliance of John Hart!
For me the 1998-2003 is the worst because of the talent we did have and we never saw it! The damage that John Hart's arrogance achieved was the destruction of that AB team! Further more people do not realise that in 1991 Eddie Tonks the chairman of the NZRU appointed John Hart as the assistant coach to Wylie for the ABs to the 1991 RWC! Hart and Wylie did NOT get on and still Tonks actions the selection Hart as assistant coach! I heard that Hart took over that team once they got to the World Cup and ran the team with the senior Auckland players in that squad kicking Wylie to the kerb till they lost the semi against the Wallabies to which Wylie called a meeting and told them to F-off!
