    Nice and informative mate. How about the other way around? Can we withdraw funds from Tiger Brokers to Wise?

    • @PHLOOKHERE
      @PHLOOKHERE  2 года назад

      The recommended way to withdraw funds would be to withdraw to your Bank account. For withdrawing funds from Tiger Broker to Wise, I think you can withdraw USD from Tiger Brokers to Wise (I have not tried it). In Wise, under the USD wallet, you should be able to see you have a USD account details that you can use it to receive USD.

    Why i just traded it says your available funds or buying power are insufficient,what is the minimum to trade option?please answer me because i really want to know

    • @PHLOOKHERE

      Hi, before trading options, it will be good to understand what is the fundamentals of options and the required funds needed to do an option trade.
      To simply answer your question, each option contract is a right to buy/sell 100 shares of the underlying stocks when it is executed. E.g Stock A current price is at $52 per share. You want to buy a call option, when this option is executed, you will be required to paid $52x100 =$5200. So your trading account should have a buying power of at least $5200 before you can do this option.
      If this is helpful, I would appreciated it if you can give a like and share with your friends;)

    Supposedly I have created an account, how to withdraw the SGD in the brokerage account back to MYR? Apparently Wise can only be used to convert MYR to SGD to send to Tiger but not vice versa. Compulsory to create a SG bank account online as an investor from Malaysia?

    • @PHLOOKHERE
      @PHLOOKHERE  2 года назад +2

      Hi, if you want to withdraw your funds from Tiger Brokers back to your Malaysia Bank account, you can withdraw. The SGD amount you transfer back to your bank account will be convert to MYR by your bank. If you want to hold SGD in you Malaysia bank account, you would need a Bank account that has multicurrency feature. Hope this helps:)

      @@PHLOOKHERE Thank you for the info! What would be the most cost-efficient way to convert the SGD to MYR upon withdrawal in your opinion?

    • @PHLOOKHERE
      @PHLOOKHERE  2 года назад +1

      Most cost efficient way will definitely be creating a SG bank account to receive the SGD, then use WISE to convert SGD to MYR to send back to the Malaysia bank account. It will be good for large amount of transfer to use this method (e.g $2000 sgd and above) to save cost.

    Can I use Wise to transfer SGD from local bank to Tiger? Or can only transfer when the starting currency is not SGD? (Because now there is a promotion if use Wise.)

    • @PHLOOKHERE
      @PHLOOKHERE  2 года назад

      Nope, you can only transfer with the supported currency using Wise to get SGD in your Tiger Brokers account.
      The supported currency are listed in the Wise menu in your tiger brokers account.

      Have you signed up a Wise account?
      Once done, go to your tiger app and go to " Fund Deposit", you should be able to see " Transfer with Wise" as an option to deposit.

    Can we directly transfer USD from Wise and get the USD in Tiger Brokers account?

    • @PHLOOKHERE
      @PHLOOKHERE  2 года назад +1

      Hi, you can use the internet banking method to transfer USD from wise to tiger brokers directly. The in-built Wise transfer is to get SGD in your Tiger brokers if you require SGD.

    How much deposit to trade pre market?

    • @PHLOOKHERE
      @PHLOOKHERE  2 года назад

      There is no min amount to trade on pre-market for US stocks. But the 1st deposit is important if you want to get sign up rewards from Tiger Brokers ($2000SGD and above).

    any idea withdraw USD directly from Tiger to Wise ?

    • @PHLOOKHERE
      @PHLOOKHERE  2 года назад

      In Wise , there is a US wallet with the relevant bank details you can use to withdraw USD from Tiger to Wise. However, this would be a telegraphic transfer which may have fees involved. If you have DBS/POSB multicurrency bank account, you can withdraw out USD without any fees.

      @@PHLOOKHERE thanks! One more questions, i should use “inside the us” or “outside the us” wise account information when receving USD withdrawal from Tiger ? I have no idea where Tiger send the money from 😅

    • @PHLOOKHERE
      @PHLOOKHERE  2 года назад

      I think choosing "outside US" will be more appropriate. But you can check with Tiger broker's customer support to ask for verification:)

    • @jemiez9383

      @@ultimatejy9393 you need to choose " Inside the US" as WISE is headquartered in the US.

    Is it cheaper if i use cimb sg bank to fund my tiger trade account compare to wise?

    • @PHLOOKHERE
      @PHLOOKHERE  2 года назад +1

      If you have SGD in your SG bank, then it will be cheaper and faster to transfer to Tiger brokers.
      Using Wise is better if you do not have a Singapore bank account and want to transfer funds into Tiger broker directly from your local Bank (e.g Malaysia Bank account).
