I have a pixel 8 pro and I bought a pixel 8a because of an incredible trade in deal in the UK making it about 250 pounds. I traded a Samsung with a cracked screen in for 193 pounds plus 10% in google store credit on the full price. I love the 8A. Its a smaller form factor and is light. I use it when I am out running and exercising in the park. Its a great phone and it works well.
I only got the 7a for the Qualcomm Wifi chipset. I don't have much of a reason to upgrade now, and would like to avoid interacting with skynet as much as possible. I am interested to see the Satellite features coming in tho and how those can be used. I suppose I will wait for the 9a or 10a
I am glad that the pixel 8a comes with a plastic back, that’s exactly what I wanted, something that won’t break into millions of pieces if dropped, like iPhones or Samsungs….
@@nathandrake3200nope. Google is ultra dumb when it comes to pricing their products in India. S24 retails at 64k while the 8a is 60k, just 4k cheaper. This is exactly why Google products aren’t selling well.

Had to dump my IPhone XR 2018 as it was getting slow on emails, surfing and texting. Bought new Pixel 8a from Mint for $399 and free shipping. Very fast and responsive as this gets 5G instead of 4G. Better display, camera and has Gemini AL which runs smoothly. Best decision ever except I needed a friend with Android experience to get rid of the adware that comes with Google Play Store. I did this because Apple is playing ninja mind games with their customers about the A16 or the A17 or the A18 chip being the bare minimum to run smoothly Apple AI. Pissed by their propaganda people who proclaimed that their newer IPhone is the one you should really get and you should trade in your old but new phone every year. Bye bye Apple, it was not good to know you.
IPhone, Galaxy, Pixel.. are these the top 3 phones consistently? And they only compete with cheaper versions of their own phones.. are there any other good phone names out there? A 4th or 5th option. Motorola? One Plus. I have Tmobile, but can get an unlocked phone.
I specifically bought the blue 7a cause of the design and color, I dont use cases so should everyone, cases just add bulk and make the phone feel cheap, also if you cant handle a phone without dropping it then thats a you problem
Interesting, what makes you dislike the 6A? Personally I have the 6A and the only reason I have it is because my pixel 5A was bricked and Google just sent me a 6A to replace it. But overall I've been loving the phone especially on Android 15!
The Pixel 6 series had serious issues, especially with overheating, but it was Google's first iteration of adding in their modified Exynos chipset. The 7 Series is a slight upgrade, but I still constantly run into thermal issues and freezes. I can only Imagine the 8 Series will be back to more of the same with the implementation of AI. That being said, Pixel is still one of the best phones for customizations and tweaks. 7a is still one of my favorite phones right after the Nexus 5
Same I had a 4a and that was a great experience I've had a few phones with their own issues but the 6a is just riddled with connectivity issues, glitches, overheating, lag, abysmal battery, inconsistent charging speeds, etc
From a security perspective I think the longer support guarantee and MTE support make getting this phone over the 7a or any 7th gen pixel for that matter, worth it. Plus it will depreciate over time, making it more accessible.

Pixels are really cool phones. At my age 72 still impressed with them. 😊❤

I got the 7a because the 8a was 50% more expensive lol
I've yet to see or feel real world improvements in any of these phones
So true. The only incentive to upgrade is if you're coming from a much older phone, the security updates, or if you damage your phone beyond repair.

8:27 Ultra HDR is an Android 14 feature, even the 4a 5G got it with the update
8a(256) in India is slightly cheaper than S24(256). 😂
It’s so overpriced
No way bruv, you're clearly buffing or you probably meant the s23

I hate the form factor of the Pixel 8a, the Pixel 7a is much nicer looking
Couldnt disagree more. The rectangle shape is absolutely awful to hold

Wait both phones are blue? I see blue and white
8a has a more saturated blue whereas the 7a is a pale blue, the 7a looos more blue irl
My Pixel 7 Pro has screen burn in, so think I'd give Pixel phones a miss altogether.
6 Pro had the same issue.
