This reminds me alot of PGR, where in the early game the enemies are just like target dummies, but later on it gets harder
Been playing the beta everyday, It definitely gets a _lot_ harder (unless you're way over leveled).
Never mind the multiple combat modes where the difficulty ramps up to 11.

Think it’s cuz his characters are higher leveled and hes fighting weaker enemies so they just get inf stunned but im just guessing here
@@natucal6957 The game have no healing so any damage is permanent. Infinite stun is probably intended for group of enemies because otherwise it will be very hard to not take damage when there is a lot of enemies.

@@BasicsZ As natucal mentioned: The skill in the combat is knowing when to time your dodges and use i-frames from switching characters to prevent taking damage. Without proper timing and positioning you'll take too much damage to be able to make it to the end of the end game "dungeon" content.
honestly i find the artstyle so endearing, it gives off kinda like a comic book vibe
This looks fun for short periods of time, not a daily time sink.
i've heard the combat actually gets more fun as time goes on, like at first is just kinda knowing how to dodge and swap and etc but it becomes more technical later and it gets more fun doing combos.
I do agree tho, genshin used to do the same but genshin main gameplay isnt just combat, as it is in zzz, so having u grow tired of the combat by making u fight the same stuff daily will definetly not be good for keeping players wanting to play. i assume they'll do smth different?

I didn't get into this beta but I did get into the last one. I didn't make it to the end of the story content before it ended lol
I did have a lot of fun tho. The combat is a lot more engaging in person imo. And from the sounds of it have improved quite a few things since the last beta
if you are into arpg, than it's for you, but if not, then it's not. arpg then to do not have open world and the gameplay is all about combat, so it might get boring. still gonna play it for the story, chara and music tho
@@punga6102 Hopefully hopefully. I believe the devs aim to try and pursue to surpass their previous game every project. Like how Genshin became better than Honkai Impact then later on there's HSR that surpassed Genshin. Hopefully ZZZ surpasses HSR?
Been playing everyday since the beta started. I can't stop, it's too much fun! Yes, even the TV traversal (sometimes).
Persona 4 inspiration. Starrail persona 5 inspiration.
Thus game couldve definitely benefited if they added some schmovent mechanic

Damage seems low but I'm pretty sure like with hsr and genshin once we level our world and get better gear it'll be better
It seems so based on what I'm playing. In this beta the level cap is 30, and _man_ is it challenging as a result.
It's a DMC-type slasher. If enemies died quickly there'd be no point.
According to my experience in both hsr and genshin, enemies dont get tanky or hit harder 'that much'. Unless its an event or abyss

@@miragames9475 basically the tv system is use for the story, commission and combat it’s still the same but you can 2x speed
Fights, TV puzzles (mainly in the plot and at the beginning of the game), various mini-games (arcade games, etc.), meetings with characters in the hub. There is no exploration of the world as such.
no explor, no coop. just combat and endgame puzzle
God the soundtrack and Artstyle of the Game is sooooo good.

Gameplay looks decent and the animations do too, but it's probably just me and my PGR bias but it's kinda slow in some parts.

They do, but you can speed it up and it comes up less now.
The vibe is like Bloodblockade battlefront, perona 5, and honkai star rail, with awesome looking combate, love it

It's it Beta. The game isn't fully released yet so there could be some errors but it says that it will be released somewhere in 2024 aka this year.

Argh finding a video if i should play this or wuthering waves, i'm almost done with Chapter 1 in Wuthering waves. Just worry that will be another game like genshin, already gave up on genshin when my char are all high asf and wasted so much time .

I came here for the same reason. Although my like for wuthering waves remains strong because the devs are actually concerned unlike in genshin. But it is more about whether this is good enough to match wuwa satisfaction in gamplay and open world
the Chapter 1 Main Quest Act VI of wuthering waves is pretty good, the boss fight and cutscene it pretty worth it

I think the enemies need a better design as well as the scenarios, Wuthering Waves gives them a thousand twists and turns in combat style, scenarios and monster design, and zzz is full of furros 🤔
Mihoyo to me is quickly becoming the 90´s Capcom of today. They make great awesome games with cool aesthetics and fun combat. The only two things they haven’t done is one: A full on MMO and second: a full on action/shooter PvP. Once they got those also in the bag they is quickly become top 5 most awesome game developers of the new millennium!
Also miHoYo doesn't do pvp in their most popular pacha games as that would expose the power creep design they have

@@Gigi-zr6hpthere is a huge difference in powercreep between tof and genshin... genshin barely has any, old characters are still very meta, like zhongli who has still the best shield in the game or hu tao who is still a top tier dps. on top of that, a few old characters made comebacks, like keqing with the addition of dendro or diluc with the release of cloud retainer.
in tof old weapons become completely useless, depending on how old they are, they can do less than 10% of the damage of the newest weapons. since the release of fenrir, every new weapon is better than the last one, just nonstop powercreep and replacement that makes investing anything pointless. the only real exception so far that i can think of has been fiona, but only for supports with her linking mechanic (and ofc healing), for dps she already got replaced by the newest altered weapon.
also yes there is pvp in tof, but its not important, the real competition is in how useful you are in coop and in damage numbers and rankings, as your damage gets compared in every coop instance and there are ranking lists for many game modes.
i think the more likely reason that genshin and other hoyo games dont have pvp is that it would make the game a lot more stressful and toxic, look at any competitive pvp game like league of legends lol

Looks like a dumbed-down version of Wuthering Waves
It's like err... Genshin-ish gameplay (switch characters combat) mixed with a bit of soulworker-ish (combat style modes) fighting.
the combat is based on hack slash games, like PGR(Punishing) and Honkai3rd!, there is nothing like Genshin!

at least it doesent steal assetts directly from its inspiration like mugen does. wuwa looks fire at first but i watched two whole livestreams of it and it feels kinda empty tbh, but that can probably change with time and so on
zzz combat looks fire tbh, but thats about all it has since no open world, they can do it right and make a fun game or make it a game thats better punishing gray raven, hope its first one
@@markedone494 to be honest wuthering as much as it looks awesome it isnt really as good as everyone has been saying imo, like its good but its not the genshin killer people make it out to be (it looks better than what it actually is from what i've seen) and genshin killers tend to not have a long lifespan, ironically. so unless they actually live up to the expectations or distance themselves enough from just being an alternative to genshin, it is likely they'll end in a similar spot to tower of fantasy (which people also said was way better than genshin) however personally even tho i cant download wuwa due to storage, i do hope it becomes a good game

i dunno...having to do so much to take out a enemy...can be tedious, super fast. DMC does it right, this though. is kinda overkill and can get stale, VERY, fast.

Cool interface, character and so on but i dont like that stuttering vibrations when you hit an enemy, look like robotic for me and it feels like they only add that to make it look like intense but in result its not, not fan of that grinding effects it removes the fluidity and smoothness of the game, Wuwa have that before but they lesser it because many players doesn't like that thing.

looks good but im over games with dumb bullet sponge ai that just stand around and let you do your flashy combos 1:32 perfect example. like all you're doing as a player is mashing buttons and watching the pretty effects.

Hope the game is good. Combat looks amazing but in the previous test the game was 90% tv simulator. Really hope they adjust it, but knowing hoyo I won’t hold my breath
They fixed it in this version. Its 80-90% battles and 10-20% tvs. I think most of tv's is in the ch1 story.
Which is completed in a few hours. Everything else in the game is literally battles..
When char slashes it seems like game is lagging .. gets pretty annoying after a while

idk man. the music kinda bland and the impact of the hits is just unappealing while the color of the world looks like its somewhat misty.
this looks like if subway surfers was 3D and was a fighting game. i just dont see the hype behind this. it looks too linear and the world design is so uninspired
hm i saw hoyoverse new game announce on epic games, got excited, but to me it looks dated, and the combat feels a lot more static than genshin.... plus screen shake gave me aids....
Mark my words, some day it's going to come out that the devs have create thousands of characters early on but many of them simply didn't fit the theme of the game, so they made games in which some of these rejected characters chould be reused.

I don't hate this game, it looks promising and fun, the character switching mechanism looks cool...but Hoyoverse has already made many hack 'n slash game, I've played 3 of their games: HI3, GI, HSR and I'm not sure if I can play another game with a similar relic system.
When I first heard the leak about ZZZ, I really hoped it was a shooter game similar to Warframe and I hope Hoyoverse considers making a shooter game.
from my experience it isn't bad again the combat is kinda boring because the enemies are so easy even on the hard difficulty story mode but it just seems overall pretty mediocre and compared to hoyos other games that already have fanbases and communities i don't feel like there is much incentive to play ZZZ as it doesn't really do anything unique at all

@@theupperking It's a free to play game, please don't give me the 'you don't have to pay' spiel, I have played a ton of free to play games for the past 2 decades and sure you can keep playing in some mid game areas where you will be making a few dimes every now and then a microscopic amounts of progress for every couple of hours spent playing but at some point you hit the pay wall one way or another be it an enemy that is too hard, the other players simply having too many advantages or you having to grind for unreasonable amounts of time for a tiny bit of progress every day.
@@mesmorrow that is unfortunate. I too have played a few gachas here and there, and i know it's all anecdotal, but never paid a single money on any of them and i still had loads of fun. Never hit any wall that isn't optional either 🤷
@@theupperking MapleStory, Metin 2, RuneScape, Flyff, Lineage 2, Fiesta Online, Vindictus, Cabal Online and the list goes on, all games which are fine to play if your fine with playing at mid game for eternity, but if you actually want to progress the story and or having your character becoming stronger you have to pay, or if you have enough time to the point where your not doing much else aside from playing video games you could simply grind every day for months and achive the same results as people that paid for shortcuts to get through the grind in a few weeks.
Some free to play games are fun to play regardless of their monetary features but that's inspite of the microtransactions not because of them.
