I am 54 and love learning new techniques. I was adding the glittery eyeshadow only on the eye lid and not blending it up. Blending it up has made a huge difference. The lashes made your look so glamorous. I have not had luck using lashes in the past but maybe I’ll try it again. You have a sweet voice. Thanks so much for a great video.
I first learned about blending the edges of a sparkly eyeshadow on Angela Bright’s channel, and I was shook by the difference it made! My eye looks went from “beginner” to “advanced” with that one tip. I’ve been so much happier with eye looks I’ve tried since I stopped being afraid of “blending away the shimmer.”
Ahh I totally get what you mean with being afraid to blend away the shimmer. The nice thing is you can always add more after blending out the edges! 😍 I am happy Angela’s video have helped you!! 🩷 Shes so nice
@@MrsWaqas-bz2hv I don’t remember it being a specific one. Basically she blends the shimmer in every eye tutorial she does involving a shimmer in the inner half of the eye. Pick any one and she will show how she does it! Just pick a tutorial and not a short
@@AnKnookyou are gorgeous- would you please tell me what style of the Bright lashes you’re using and the type of lash glue and also the brushes? Also- I’ve never used falsies, can you do a vid on that?
Thanks for the tip to blend out a one shadow look! I could see how much of a difference that makes as soon as you demonstrated in the video. I'll definitely make sure I always do that!
Ahh let me know if you liked it! Its not something I ever do myself also but its actually so simple & easy and makes it seem as if more effort has been made with a look 👌🏼🤩
Your videos are definitely helpful. They're short and sweet yet somehow informative and easily doable. I find them much more relatable than a traditional 30-minute 'makeup guru' tutorial. Maybe it's the close-ups? Idk... I haven't quite pinpointed it.
An, I have a piece of advice for you from an older woman. Don’t drag on your lids with your finger. Pat the color into place and use your ring finger because it has the lightest touch. Just things I wish I’d been told when I as still young. And ignore the old biddies who are griping in the comments. If you gave them roses they’d focus on the thorns! Keep doing what you’re doing. 🎨🌹
That’s what I exactly do. I just place thể eyeshadow on the lid and blend the edges above the crease. I have bought your eye brushes set and mac pot too. Thank you for the brushes and such easy videos ♥️♥️
I love ur videos! I get some of thee BEST makeup tips from u & ur voice/accent is so calming & beautful to listen to while watching u create such beautiful looks THANX so much ❤from Boston!
Very good one! I never dare to stop at just one. I’ll always use a darker one for the crease… and then 20 min later, I am still on my eyes! 😂 So I’ll give it a try with your method! ❤
This look so beautiful yet simple! ❤ Thank you for the helpful tip regarding the concealer on the eyelids. I always wondered why this never worked and now thanks to you I know it’s because it’s so hydrating it constantly creases… I just have one question, is there a dupe or more affordable palette I could use? Thank you 🙏🏽
By the time you’re old enough for this video’s intent to apply to you… You absolutely avoid using any concealer that isn’t creamy and moisturizing. It’s also more difficult to gently blend eyeshadow with circular or sweeping motions. It’s the kind of stuff that just hits you one day after years of having your application down pat.
I don’t use morphe palettes anymore because for some reason everytime I do I get bumps on my eyelid 😩😩 I think it might be the high concentration of talc which my skin isnt happy about. So weird. I only notice this happening with morphe products
I actually don't do my entire lid, I use my finger and put eyeshadow down the center (up near my brow) only. I have hooded eyes, it's just a waste of shadow otherwise lol
Her eyelids don’t crepe or have any wrinkles, so until that happens to her she has no idea what she talking about, so I wouldn’t take it too seriously.
She never said it was “bad or wrong” ….just something she’s noticed, probably because it’s obvious. I mean If people want unblended eyeshadow by all means just slap it on and call it a day. It’s really not that big of a deal, she’s not demeaning anyone of even being over,y critical just stating her oppinion?
Lol. I've seen plenty of younger people making "mistakes". That comment was pretty awful and not needed. You could have just said "some people". Ageism isn't cool

The unblended looked good too, I think it depends on the look you’re going for and also the shape and size/depth of your eyes/lids.

Yes! I prefer short notice sweet too - especially when trying out techniques. I can't stand when youtubers go on too much.

I have also a small scar on my lid and I achieve the same result applying a layer of highlighting pencil. Hides everything.
Oh thats nice! What brand highlighting pencil do you use?

Essence. I got it for free from an online beauty shop in my country, and is so creamy it is almost a concealer.
Very helpful indeed 😊

Hoe kan het dat jij helemaal geen fall out krijgt? Ik heb daar altijd last van, zelfs wanneer ik mn vinger gebruik om de oogschaduw aan te brengen.
The MAC primer has been my holy grail for so many years.

If you’re in a hurry do these 3 steps to wear one eyeshadow
thanks for the tip but please know 'younger' women make just as many makeup mistakes as 'older' women. Assuming otherwise is insulting.
Any make up will look good if you have no drooping eyelids
How dare you say older women blend their eyeshadow bad/wrong. Wow.
Her eyelids don’t crepe or have any wrinkles, so until that happens to her she has no idea what she talking about, so I wouldn’t take it too seriously.
She has a lot to learn
All she said was some older women don’t blend out the edges. If you are not one of them why are you so triggered 😂
ANY age can blend eyeshadow wrong, why say older women? Ageism is not funny.
Lol. I've seen plenty of younger people making "mistakes". That comment was pretty awful and not needed. You could have just said "some people". Ageism isn't cool
She won’t be young forever.
Nice but not effortless.
I definitely prefer the look without the lashes..but that’s me..
